DECLARATIONS TO THE EMPLOYER. 2.3.1 If an Employee wishes to hold a second job with someone else or work for themselves the Employee must advise the Employer of this. The Employer may oppose the request and the Employee must comply with the Employers decision if the Employer is of the opinion it will harm the business, there is a conflict of interest, or negatively affect the Employee's ability to work for the Company.
2.3.2 The Employee has declared in their employment application that all of the information provided to the Employer is accurate and complete. The Employee is obliged to disclose all pre-existing injuries and diseases of which the Employee could reasonably foresee may affect their employment. Failure by an Employee to disclose any relevant or factual information may result in the termination of the Employee's employment in accordance with clause 7.1 of this Agreement.
DECLARATIONS TO THE EMPLOYER.
2.1.1 If any Employee wishes to hold a second job with another Employer or to be self-employed outside of their work with the Employer, they must seek approval from the Employer prior to commencing such work. The Employer may decline such a request and the Employee must comply with that decision if the Employer is of the opinion that such work will harm the business or negatively affect the Employee's ability to perform work for the Employer.
2.1.2 Employees will not engage in any conduct or activities which are inconsistent with their duties as an Employee of the Employer or which conflict or might reasonably be perceived to conflict with the Employer's interests.
2.1.3 Employees must declare to the Employer any interest in any business of any kind that may be in competition with the business of the Employer.
DECLARATIONS TO THE EMPLOYER. If an Employee wishes to hold a second job with someone else, they must advise the Employer of this in writing. The Employer may oppose that request and they must comply with the Employer’s decision if the Employer is of the opinion, it will harm the business or negatively affect the Employees ability to work for the Employer. The Employer will put the final decision in writing to the Employee. All Employees declare in their employment application that all of the information provided by them to the Employer is accurate and complete. Employees are required to disclose all pre-existing injuries and diseases of which they are aware may affect their proposed employment. Failure by the Employee to disclose any relevant or factual information may result in the termination of their employment summarily.
