Description of the Environment. 9.4.1 The marine environment in the assessment area composed of the marine water of Kowloon Bay and Victoria Harbour, two typhoon shelters at To Kwa Wan (TKWTS) and Xxxx Xxxx (KTTS), as well as Kai Tak Approach Channel (KTAC). Description of the Environment. Marine Water Quality 5.3.1 The EPD water quality monitoring stations, VM2 and VM4, in the Victoria Harbour WCZ is located in the vicinity of the Project area. A summary of the most recently published monitoring data (in 2005) for these stations is presented in Table 5.3. Description of the Environment. 6.3.1 The Project area is located at the south apron and runway of the former Kai Tak Airport. There is no air quality monitoring station located in the study area. EPD’s Sham Shui Po and Xxxx Xxxx air quality monitoring stations are the nearest stations to the Project site. Table 6.4 summarises the annual average concentrations of the air pollutants recorded at these two monitoring stations in Year 2005.
Description of the Environment. 3.5.1 The Project area is about 96 hectares and covers the former Kai Tak Airport south apron and runway areas together with the disused fuel dolphin. The locality is adjacent to Kowloon Bay, Kai Tak Approach Channel and Xxxx Xxxx Typhoon Shelter. The east of the Project area is mainly industrial / commercial uses while the nearest residential development is at the north-western side of the Project area at To Kwa Wan and Ma Tau Kok areas.

  • Protection of the Environment If the Contractor encounters circumstances such as weather conditions or site factors where the Contractor knows or should reasonably know that proceeding with the Work may, directly or indirectly, cause Environmental Damage, the Contractor shall:

  • Safe Environment The School shall maintain a safe learning environment at all times. The School shall develop and adhere to a safety plan, which shall be provided to the Commission.

  • Working Environment The Parties agree that a safe and clean working environment is essential in order to carry out work assignments in a satisfactory manner. It will be the Employer's responsibility to ensure that all working areas and Employer-owned vehicles are maintained in a safe and clean condition.

  • Smoke Free Environment The Lessor shall make all parts of the leased premise smoke-free. "

  • HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT In the performance of this Contract, Contractor and Operator shall conduct Petroleum Operations with due regard to health, safety and the protection of the environment (“HSE”) and the conservation of natural resources, and shall in particular:

  • Work Environment It is mutually agreed that the prevention of accidents and injuries to state employees will result in greater efficiency of operations of state government.
