Designation of Evaluator. 12.3.1 The principal or designee shall be responsible for the evaluation of all school-based employees.

December 15 Unless there are extenuating circumstances the first observation must be completed by the evaluator for those on Option 1 or 2 a) or by the partnership group for those on Option 2 b). End of second (2nd) week in February (probationary and temporary employees) Voluntary Self-assessment: Evaluatee completes self-assessment. This process and deadlines applies only to evaluatee choosing to complete a self- assessment. End of last week in February (probationary and temporary employees) Final Evaluation: Final evaluation completed and signed by the evaluator and evaluatee. Prior to March 30th (permanent employees evaluated using Option 2 b) Required Self-assessment: Written self-evaluation report submitted to partners and evaluator for comments. End of first (1st) week in April (permanent employee) Voluntary Self-assessment: Evaluatee completes self-assessment. This process and deadline applies only to evaluate choosing to complete a self- assessment. May 1 for permanent employees Final Evaluation: Final evaluation report completed and signed by evaluator and evaluatee. Note: The dates cited are deadlines; procedures may begin any time prior to these dates.
