Detail Rate. Where it is not possible to employ an employee in one classification full time and where, in order to give him continuing employment, it is necessary to carry out the work of more than one classification, he shall be paid the higher rate for all hours worked in that day if he works in a higher classification for any part of that day or shift. Where an employee is assigned to work at the higher classification for a period of less than four hours, he will be paid at the higher rate for four hours of work. In the event an employee is assigned work at a lower classification, he will continue to be paid the rate of his normal classification.
Detail Rate. Detail Rate. The rate for private details shall be increased to the Lieutenants’ overtime rate plus $2.00. Permission to work out-of-town fire/ambulance details will be granted, subject to the officer providing to the Town of Canton the appropriate liability waiver from the town requesting the detail.
Detail Rate. Members shall be paid for details at their respective overtime rate with a minimum of four (4) hours per detail assignment for the Town of Harwich. Details requested by a private party, which are not paid by the Town of Harwich, shall be paid at the Captain/EMT-Paramedic overtime rate with the same four (4) hour minimum. Details shall be offered fairly on a rotating basis. Any Member participating on a detail shall be considered on duty.
