DETAILS OF AGREEMENT. The City of Gosnells agrees to: i. Appoint a Meridian Services employee as an Honorary Inspector under section 27AA of the Xxxxxx Xxx 0000 for a two-year period; ii. Provide initial training for the correct issuing on infringement notices and issuing of infringement books for the Honorary Inspector; The training will highlight the importance of issuing infringement notices correctly and accurately, all the necessary forms of evidence, which include photographic, written notes taken at the time and potentially oral evidence that may be required in court, should an alleged offender wish to have the matter hear in court: iii. Provide administration for litter infringement notices issued by Meridian Services within the City including receipt of payment, pursuit of unpaid fines and prosecution; iv. The City will action clean-up of any dumping occurring on City owned land. Meridian Services agrees to: i. Nominate an employee to act as an Honorary Inspector within the City of Gosnells; ii. Issue litter infringement notices where the Honorary Inspector has sufficient evidence to do so; iii. Provide the City of Gosnells with details of any infringement notices issued no later than the next working day (required so infringement can be lodged at the City to allow payment to be received), including original duplicate notice, photographic evidence and any other supporting evidence; iv. In circumstances where a line of enquiry exists and which Meridian Services is unable to pursue, provide that information to the City of Gosnells for investigation; v. Where dumping occurs on private land, Meridian Services will advise the owner or builder (if known to them); vi. Act as complainant or witness in the relevant circumstances. The flowchart at Appendix 1 provides a process for the execution of this agreement.

DETAILS OF AGREEMENT. 1.1 This Management Agreement focuses on the provision of the repairs, maintenance, servicing and associated works to the Council’s housing portfolio (“the Service”). In order to provide flexibility in the future, it does not seek to prescribe every element of the Service and as such enables the inclusion of other related areas of service over the duration of the Agreement. Many of the elements of the service are ones which will vary from year to year and such changes and variations will be agreed annually. 1.2 The responsibility for managing the housing stock is with NCH . The basis to this document is to provide a performance framework whereby the Council is assured that the housing stock is well maintained, receives investment in a timely manner, has a wide range of services delivered in a customer focused way and provides value for money. 1.3 This document is not a standalone contract. It is a Management Agreement which is incorporated into the Partnering Agreement. 1.4 All of the terms and conditions of the Partnering Agreement apply equally to this Management Agreement. In the event of any conflicting terms the Partnering Agreement prevails. This Management Agreement lasts for the duration of the Partnering Agreement, subject to clause 15.4.3
