Discipline and Protection. Contractor shall enforce strict discipline and good order among its employees, its Subcontractors’ employees, Owner Supplier employees and any other Persons carrying out portions of the Work on the Project Site and provide for the protection and maintenance of the Work and Owner Equipment and Materials on the Project Site and of all Persons and property related thereto. Contractor shall at all times take reasonable and appropriate actions to prevent any unlawful or disorderly conduct by or amongst its employees and those employees of Subcontractors and Owner Suppliers on the Project Site. Contractor shall not permit the employment, by it or its Subcontractors, of unfit Persons or Persons not skilled in tasks assigned to them. Owner shall do the same in respect of its Separate Contractors who are performing work on the Project Site.

PSGC shall at all times take reasonable and appropriate actions to prevent any unlawful or disorderly conduct by or amongst its employees and those employees of its Separate Contractors. PSGC shall require that its Separate Contractors not employ unfit individuals or assign individuals to tasks as to which they inappropriately suited in connection with the performance of the activities of such Separate Contractors.

Contractor shall at all times take all necessary precautions to prevent any unlawful or disorderly conduct by or amongst its employees and those employees of Subcontractors and for the preservation of peace and protection of individuals and property on, or in the vicinity of, the Big Stone Site. Contractor shall not permit the employment of unfit individuals or individuals not skilled in tasks assigned to them. Contractor understands the importance of maintaining good relations with the community in which the Existing Facilities are located and shall emphasize the importance of good community relations to its employees and other Persons under its supervision on the Job Site.
Discipline and Protection. Section A: The Board recognizes its responsibility to give all reasonable support and assistance to teachers with respect to the maintenance of control and discipline in the classroom.

  • Whistleblower Protections and Trade Secrets Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, nothing in this Agreement prohibits Executive from reporting possible violations of federal law or regulation to any United States governmental agency or entity in accordance with the provisions of and rules promulgated under Section 21F of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 or Section 806 of the Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxx Act of 2002, or any other whistleblower protection provisions of state or federal law or regulation (including the right to receive an award for information provided to any such government agencies). Furthermore, in accordance with 18 U.S.C. § 1833, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement: (i) Executive shall not be in breach of this Agreement, and shall not be held criminally or civilly liable under any federal or state trade secret law (x) for the disclosure of a trade secret that is made in confidence to a federal, state, or local government official or to an attorney solely for the purpose of reporting or investigating a suspected violation of law, or (y) for the disclosure of a trade secret that is made in a complaint or other document filed in a lawsuit or other proceeding, if such filing is made under seal; and (ii) if Executive files a lawsuit for retaliation by the Company for reporting a suspected violation of law, Executive may disclose the trade secret to Executive’s attorney, and may use the trade secret information in the court proceeding, if Executive files any document containing the trade secret under seal, and does not disclose the trade secret, except pursuant to court order.

  • Americans with Disabilities Act The Contractor shall be and remain in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (“Act”), to the extent applicable, during the term of the Contract. DAS may Terminate the Contract if the Contractor fails to comply with the Act.

  • Safety Where an employee is prevented from working at the employee’s particular function as a result of unsafe conditions caused by the inclement weather, the employee may be transferred to other work in the employee’s classification on site, until the unsafe conditions are rectified. Where such alternative is not available and until the unsafe conditions are rectified, the employee shall remain on site. The employee shall be paid for such time without reduction of the employees’ inclement weather entitlement.

  • Employment Practices Contractor agrees to abide by the following employment laws: (i)Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. 2000e) which prohibits discrimination against any employee or applicant for employment or any applicant or recipient of services, on the basis of race, religion, color, or national origin; (ii) Executive Order No. 11246, as amended, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex; (iii) 45 CFR 90 which prohibits discrimination on the basis of age; (iv) Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, or the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 which prohibits discrimination on the basis of disabilities; and (v) Utah's Executive Order, dated December 13, 2006, which prohibits unlawful harassment in the work place. Contractor further agrees to abide by any other laws, regulations, or orders that prohibit the discrimination of any kind of any of Contractor’s employees.

  • Whistleblower Protection Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, no provision of this Agreement shall be interpreted so as to impede the Employee (or any other individual) from reporting possible violations of federal law or regulation to any governmental agency or entity, including but not limited to the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Congress, and any agency Inspector General, or making other disclosures under the whistleblower provisions of federal law or regulation. The Employee does not need the prior authorization of the Company to make any such reports or disclosures and the Employee shall not be not required to notify the Company that such reports or disclosures have been made.

  • Health and Safety C8.1 The Contractor shall promptly notify the Authority of any health and safety hazards which may arise in connection with the performance of the Contract. The Authority shall promptly notify the Contractor of any health and safety hazards which may exist or arise at the Authority’s Premises and which may affect the Contractor in the performance of the Contract.

  • Authorizations and Protections As agent for Company hereunder, Agent:

  • Environmental and Safety Laws To its knowledge, the Company is not in violation of any applicable statute, law or regulation relating to the environment or occupational health and safety, and to its knowledge, no material expenditures are or will be required in order to comply with any such existing statute, law or regulation.
