Common use of Double Shifts Clause in Contracts

Double Shifts. (a) No Nurse shall be required to work a double shift without their consent, except in emergency situations, unless the Employer has made every reasonable effort to find a Nurse to work the shift. (b) Unless mutually agreed upon otherwise, any Nurse required to work a double shift shall have their next scheduled shift off where operational requirements permit.
