Drivers and trends. The purpose of the future situation analysis is to explore different future scenarios and their potential impact on the future textile management system in Europe. Using scenario building as a structured tool, the foresight process facilitates in-depth discussions about key drivers and uncertainties, as well as potential outcomes of diverse future trajectories. Engaging participants in this type of discussion helps create a shared view of future opportunities and threats, and the process often challenges assumptions and raise new strategic questions to consider. As such, scenarios can be seen as a strategic tool for decision makers when planning for the longer term. Based on the Trend Analysis, a number of key developments for the textile industry in Europe were identified, see Key Development Mapping in Figure 16. Key drivers include Policy Development, Consumer demands, Digitalisation and Technological Advancements, Geopolitical Forces, Economic Environment and Demographic Shifts. In the analysis, these were identified as fundamental factors that influence the development of the textile industry in Europe going forward. When it comes to trends, or the directional changes that are influencing the textile industry, the following were identified: Spotlight on textile circularity policy, Resource scarcity and rising production costs, The rise of circular and service-based business models, Increased focus on social sustainability, Rising awareness of environmental impact and waste challenges, Increased focus on automation and digitalisation and Shortage of skilled workers.   • LITERATURE, ADVERTISEMENTS, AND SOCIAL MEDIA 29 A. Any written information or literature, including educational or promotional materials, 30 distributed by CONTRACTOR to any person or organization for purposes directly or indirectly related 31 to this Agreement must be approved at least thirty (30) days in advance and in writing by 32 ADMINISTRATOR before distribution. For the purposes of this Agreement, distribution of written 33 materials shall include, but not be limited to, pamphlets, brochures, flyers, newspaper or magazine ads, 34 and electronic media such as the Internet. 35 B. Any advertisement through radio, television broadcast, or the Internet, for educational or 36 promotional purposes, made by CONTRACTOR for purposes directly or indirectly related to this 37 Agreement must be approved in advance at least thirty (30) days and in writing by ADMINISTRATOR. 1 C. If CONTRACTOR uses social media (such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or other publicly 2 available social media sites) in support of the services described within this Agreement, 3 CONTRACTOR shall develop social media policies and procedures and have them available to 4 ADMINISTRATOR upon reasonable notice.   • Customer and Trade Relations As of the Closing Date, there exists no actual or, to the knowledge of any Credit Party, threatened termination or cancellation of, or any material adverse modification or change in: the business relationship of any Credit Party with any customer or group of customers whose purchases during the preceding 12 months caused them to be ranked among the ten largest customers of such Credit Party; or the business relationship of any Credit Party with any supplier material to its operations.

  • Drivers Any and all drivers who drive the Vehicles you are renting/leasing from us shall be duly licensed, trained and qualified to drive vehicles of this type. Although we may, from time to time, recommend certain qualified drivers with whom we are familiar, we do not supply drivers. You must supply and employ any driver who drives our Vehicles (even if the driver is the registered owner of the vehicle or owner of a company that owns the vehicle) and that driver shall be deemed to be your employee for all purposes and shall be covered as an additional insured on all of your applicable insurance policies.

  • STAFF ORIENTATION 4101 The Employer shall provide an appropriate orientation program for nurses newly employed.   • Open and Transparent Consistent with ICANN’s expressed mission and core values, ICANN shall operate in an open and transparent manner.

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • Shiftworkers 35.1 Shiftworker for the purposes of this clause is defined as an Employee who performs Shiftwork and who starts or finishes a shift outside of the ordinary hours set out at clause 34.2 above. 35.2 A Shiftworker shall be paid at the rate of double time for all hours worked. 35.3 An Employee who has to work Shiftwork shall be given at least 48 hours of notice of the requirements to work shift work.

  • Shiftwork (A) Where the Employee would have received shift loadings had the Employee not been on leave during the relevant period and such loadings would have entitled the Employee to a greater amount than a loading of 17.5% of the payment under clause 23.1(c), then the shift loadings must be added to the payment under clause 23.1(c)(i) instead of the 17.5% loading. (B) Provided further that if the shift allowance would have entitled the Employee to a lesser amount than the loading of 17.5% then such loading of 17.5% shall be used for the purpose of calculating annual leave loading in lieu of the shift allowance.

  • Internships The Hospital may establish internships for the purpose of meeting future projected nursing shortages and/or providing career opportunities where there are no internal qualified candidates for job postings. In such circumstances, the implementation and guidelines of such an arrangement will be determined locally by the Hospital and the Union subject to the following: Internships are designed to develop the Hospital’s staff in order to fill positions for which there are currently no qualified internal candidates and/or for which shortages are predicted within a five (5) year period. Internships enable hospitals to maximize the use of qualified internal staff to meet their human resources needs, while at the same time providing career development opportunities for their employees. To provide direction to the local parties in developing and implementing internship(s) the Ontario Nurses’ Association and Participating Hospitals have agreed to the following principles: (a) The Hospital will establish the expectations for each internship opportunity; (b) There will be an open application process for internship opportunities; (c) The opportunities will be open to currently employed nurses who can demonstrate continuous learning, and a commitment to the Hospital; (d) Nurses who are selected for internship opportunities will commit to continued employment on a mutually determined basis; (e) Initiatives to support selected candidates may include but are not limited to: i) No loss of regular wages while attending a requisite course ii) Paid course fees iii) Paid time for clinical practicums in the Hospital or another clinical site iv) Any other initiatives, as agreed. (f) Part-time nurses will be credited with seniority and service for all such hours paid while participating in these initiatives as provided above.

  • Freedom of Information and Transparency 20.1 The Recipient acknowledges that the Commissioner is subject to the provisions of the FOIA and agrees to assist and co-operate with the Commissioner (at the Recipient’s expense) where necessary to enable the Commissioner to comply with any requests received under the FOIA relating to this Agreement. This includes, but is not limited to, transferring to the Commissioner any request received by the Recipient under the FOIA relating to this Agreement as soon as practicable following receipt and in any event within three working days of receipt. 20.2 In no event shall the Recipient respond to a request under the FOIA relating to this Agreement without obtaining the prior written consent of the Commissioner. 20.3 The Recipient acknowledges that the Commissioner may be obliged to disclose information under the FOIA: 20.3.1 Without consulting the Recipient; or 20.3.2 Following consultation with the Recipient and having taken into account its views. Provided that where clause 20.3.1 applies the Commissioner shall, in accordance with the recommendations of the Secretary of State for Constitutional Affairs’ Code of Practice on the discharge of a public authorities’ functions under Part 1 of FOIA, take reasonable steps, to give the Recipient advanced notice or to draw the disclosure to the Recipient’s attention after any such disclosure. 20.4 The Recipient shall ensure it retains for disclosure all information (as defined in the FOIA) produced in the course of this Agreement or relating to this Agreement and shall allow the Commissioner to inspect such records from time to time upon request. 20.5 The Recipient acknowledges that the Commissioner is subject to certain transparency and disclosure obligations set out in the Elected Local Policing Bodies Specified Information Order 2011 (as amended) (“Transparency Obligations”) 20.6 The Recipient consents to the Commissioner publishing the contents of this Agreement and information regarding any tender process related to the Purpose of the Agreement to enable the Commissioner to comply with their Transparency Obligations. 20.7 The Recipient acknowledges that: 20.7.1 The Commissioner shall be responsible for determining, at their absolute discretion, whether any information is exempt from disclosure or should be disclosed pursuant to the FOIA and/or the Transparency Obligations and to what extent any information disclosed shall be redacted; and 20.7.2 Any lists or schedules provided by the Recipient outlining confidential information are of an indicative value only and that the Commissioner may be obliged to disclose confidential information in accordance with Clause 20.3 and/or Clause 20.5.
