Early Notification of Retirement/Resignation. Any employee giving the District early notification of retirement shall, upon request: 1. Receive a stipend of $2000, if the eligible employee submits an irrevocable letter of retirement to the Superintendent’s office by February 15, or 2. Receive a stipend of $1,000, if the eligible employee submits an irrevocable letter of retirement to the Superintendent’s office by April 1. 3. Receive a stipend of $500, if the eligible employee submits an irrevocable letter of resignation to the Superintendent’s office by April 1. 4. These stipends shall be paid on a supplemental contract. Duties of the employee may include: assistance for transition, mentoring staff, readying the classroom for the transition for the next school year.

Early Notification of Retirement/Resignation. The District shall provide a $750.00 stipend for employees who provide the District with written notification of their June retirement/resignation by February 1. The District shall provide a $500.00 stipend for employees who provide the District with written notification of their June retirement/resignation by the first working day in April. In order to receive the stipend, employees must submit written notification to the Human Resources Office by 4:30 p.m. on the designated date. The stipend will be paid in the August payroll.
