Early Tenure Sample Clauses

Early Tenure. Tenure may be awarded by the Board of Trustees prior to the completion of the regular probation period after it has given reasonable consideration to the recommendations of the Tenure Review Committee.

Early Tenure. In rare instances (see criteria below), tenure may be granted to a faculty member before the end of the sixth year. However, early tenure is an exception. Generally, tenure-track faculty are not granted tenure before fulfilling six years of service at the University. In accordance with HEPC (Higher Education Policy Commission), Series 9, Section 10.3, the following criteria are used to determine qualifications for tenure prior to the end of the sixth year:
Early Tenure. As an exception, tenure may be awarded by the Board of Trustees prior to the completion of the regular probation period after giving reasonable consideration to the recommendations of the Tenure Review Committee (TRC). Early tenure is reserved for faculty members who demonstrate exceptional performance and significant contributions to the College, consistent with the institution’s values, mission, and vision, as well as state guidelines. Circumstances which might lead to consideration of early tenure for those engaged in the process may include, but are not limited to: meeting the expectations of an Associate Professor or above rank as outlined in Appendix B.1, at least five years of previous tenure experience at a comparable or higher-ranked institution, or at least six years serving as an adjunct faculty member at Bellevue College.

  • Early Termination In the absence of any material breach of this Agreement, should the Trust elect to terminate this Agreement prior to the end of the term, the Trust agrees to pay the following fees: a. all monthly fees through the life of the contract, including the rebate of any negotiated discounts; b. all fees associated with converting services to successor service provider; c. all fees associated with any record retention and/or tax reporting obligations that may not be eliminated due to the conversion to a successor service provider; d. all out-of-pocket costs associated with a-c above.

  • Early Termination Charges If this Agreement is terminated prior to its End Date pursuant to Clauses 42A-42, 43(a) or A- 43(c), the Home Customer shall pay to the Company an Early Termination Charge equivalent to (Termination Rate x Unexpired Months) where:

  • Early Termination Fee After this contract goes into effect, if you terminate this contract for any reason, or switch your service to a different electricity generation supplier or default service supplier prior to the end of the contract term, you will be responsible for paying XOOM Energy an early termination fee in the amount of $500. This Early Termination Fee is intended not as a penalty, but simply to offset the cost of selling the unused portion of your electric power to others and estimated lost revenue that XOOM may incur from such a sale, if any, and related expenses.
