Education Incentive Premium Pay. Members who possess or achieve a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education shall receive a one-time only step increase with proof of degree. If a Correctional Officer I is awarded an education incentive premium pay of one step, upon promotion to Correctional Officer II the employee shall retain the step placement at the new range.
Education Incentive Premium Pay. All employees who have completed their initial probationary period in the Fire Department may participate in the Department’s Education Incentive Premium Pay (EEIP) provided, however, that an employee may not participate in both EIP and EEIP. Such participation will be subject to the rules of the EEIP as maintained in the Departmental EEIP policy. Employees participating in EEIP may be eligible to receive five (5) percent premium pay on base salary for a Baccalaureate and a seven and a half (7.5) percent premium pay on base salary for a Master’s Degree subject to the provisions of EEIP.

Education Incentive Premium Pay. 7.1. All employees who have completed their initial probationary period may participate in the Department’s Education Incentive Premium Pay (EIPP) program provided. 7.2. Employees participating in EIPP may be eligible to receive 2.5% premium pay for a Master’s degree subject to the provisions of EIPP. 7.3. To qualify for consideration, an employee must have a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
