Flex credits not designated for eligible services are placed in the employee’s health FSA. IRS regulations establish annual maximum limits for flexible credits which may be rolled over to an FSA. An employee is not entitled to flexible credits that, when rolled over to an FSA, exceed the maximum limits allowed by law.
