Elementary Work Day a. General Education elementary teacher workday shall have a minimum of two hundred (200) minutes weekly planning time with a minimum of forty (40) uninterrupted minutes per day, one (1) professional responsibility/supervision, and one (1) duty-free lunch.
Elementary Work Day. 31.3.1 The work day for teachers of morning kindergarten classes and grades 1-6 will normally coincide with and begin twenty (20) minutes prior to the student instructional day. Hours beyond those of the students’ day will be used to fulfill other professional obligations such as back-to-school night, open house, SST and IEP meetings. The teachers who work with the safety patrol do not have yard or bus duty.
Elementary Work Day. With administration’s approval, PK-4 teachers will have the option of working in his/her classroom prior to the start of the 1st Teacher Quality Money-funded work day at a per diem rate up to a maximum of sixteen (16) hours.
