Bus Duty. Every effort will be made to ensure that teachers are assigned to no more than one duty per day. Every effort will be made to minimize the non-teaching duties assigned to teachers in their first year of service. Whenever possible, they will be the last teachers assigned a regular duty.
Bus Duty. At the end of the school day, teachers will walk students to the bus line, however, they are not expected to remain with students.
Bus Duty. Bargaining Unit Members may be assigned to A.M. and P.M. bus duty. Flexible starting and ending times shall not extend the seven and one-half (7-1/2) hour workday.
Bus Duty. Teachers who are assigned outside of the building bus duty to ensure student safety on/off buses shall be compensated at the rate of seven dollars and fifty cents ($7.50) per fifteen (15) minute increments rounded to the nearest fifteen minute (15) increment for covering this duty. Compensation shall be made for time on duty outside of the contractual work day that is submitted to the treasurer on a timesheet that shall be paid twice yearly, once in January and once in June. Time sheets must be submitted in the school year in which they were worked and be signed by the building administrator within twenty-four (24) hours of time worked.
Bus Duty a) The District will provide a Bus Assistant for each elementary school with buses.
b) During the first 7 days of a school year, one Teacher will be assigned per bus, supervise the loading and acquainting the students with the Bus Assistant. The Principal is responsible for making the assignments.
c) Each classroom Teacher will discuss bus safety and rules with their class.
d) After this training period, the Bus Assistant will monitor students waiting for the bus.
e) During the school year, the Teachers will assist the Principal and the Bus Assistant in resolving problems which interfere with bus safety.
Bus Duty. Paraprofessionals and Teacher Xxxxx assigned to individual students will not have a bus assignment which conflicts with their ability to assist their student with transportation needs. Paraprofessionals and Teacher Aides of preschool students can be assigned a bus duty.
Bus Duty. 7 8 Teachers shall not be required to do bus duty. Teachers who elect to do bus duty shall be 9 compensated at an hourly rate. The Board of Education shall continue to hire aides for this 10 purpose.
Bus Duty. Any employee assigned bus duty and working over his/her established working time shall be paid additional time according to the actual time worked.
Bus Duty. Effective July 1, 2001, teachers may be assigned bus duty within the school day. Such assignments will be made on an equitable basis and approved by the Principal based upon a schedule developed in consultation with an Association representative.
