ELIGIBLE VOTERS. For the purpose of the Referendum, to be an Eligible Voter, an individual must meet all of the following conditions: • The name of the individual must appear on the Register of Cree beneficiaries maintained by Québec pursuant to subsection 3.5 of the JBNQA; • The individual must be at least 18 years of age on the last day determined by the Referendum Committee that voting can take place in the Referendum. The Referendum Committee shall establish a timetable for the Chief Referendum Officer to obtain a copy of the Register of Cree beneficiaries maintained by Québec pursuant to subsection 3.5 of the JBNQA and to develop based thereon a list of all Eligible Voters, which shall include the names of all Cree beneficiaries who are 18 years of age or older on the last day determined by the Referendum Committee that voting can take place in the Referendum. The Referendum Committee shall establish rules requiring the Chief Referendum Officer to post the list of Eligible Voters, which shall include a requirement to provide information on how and on what basis an individual may apply to have names added to or removed from the Register of Cree beneficiaries maintained by Québec pursuant to subsection 3.5 of the JBNQA.
ELIGIBLE VOTERS. Eligible to vote shall be any non-tenure track faculty member in the Agreed Bargaining Unit described below in paragraph 4 employed or to be employed by the University during any Session in the 2020-2021 Academic Year, specifically from Summer Session #1 (beginning June 18, 2020) and ending Spring Semester/Quarter (concluding June 11, 2021), so long as such non-tenure track faculty member was employed, or under contract by the University on the date the Union submits a showing of interest (as that term is used in Paragraph 6(b)) to the neutral third party. Non-tenure track faculty on any University-approved leave shall likewise be eligible to vote.

ELIGIBLE VOTERS. The eligible voters shall be those employees, included within the unit described below, who were employed as of the date indicated below, including employees who did not work during said payroll period because they were ill or on vacation, temporarily laid off, or in the military services of the United States, but excluding any employees who have since quit or been discharged and employees engaged in a strike.
ELIGIBLE VOTERS. All members in each bargaining unit are eligible to vote if they were employed during the last payroll period ending August 30, 2019 and are still employed the date of the election. The University shall prepare a list of all eligible voters in each bargaining unit. A copy of the lists shall be given to the Union and the Board by September 13, 2019. The parties shall examine the lists, mark out confidential employees and sign the lists indicating their concurrence and agreement. If the parties are unable to agree on an employee’s eligibility to vote, including the designation of confidential employees, they shall bring the matter to the Board. The Board shall hear from both parties and render a prompt decision. Nothing in this Agreement shall preclude the Union, the University or an employee from filing a challenge to the eligibility lists at any time up to and including October 17, 2019.
