Elimination Period. Benefits commence after the employee has been totally and continuously disabled for fifty-two (52) weeks or has exhausted his weekly indemnity benefits whichever occurs last.
Elimination Period. Benefits begin the first day of total disability following a non-work-related accident, or on the eighth day of total disability due to illness (including medical maternity).
Elimination Period. The Executive must be continually Disabled for 90 consecutive days before the Company becomes obligated to pay Disability Benefits. The Company shall not pay Disability Benefits for the Executive's Disability during the Elimination Period.
Elimination Period. The Policy contains an Elimination Period, which is like a deductible. The Elimination Period is the total number of days that You must receive care or services before benefit payments will begin. The Policy will not pay for care or services received or provided during the Elimination Period. Only days on which You receive care or services covered either under this Policy or by Medicare count toward meeting the Elimination Period. Some Benefits are not subject to the Elimination Period and amounts paid for those Benefits will not count toward satisfying the Elimination Period. The Benefit descriptions below indicate if that Benefit is subject to the Elimination Period. Once You have met all the conditions of the Eligibility for Payment of Benefits provision and have satisfied the Elimination Period, the Policy will begin paying benefits for covered care or services. The days counted toward Your Elimination Period do not have to be consecutive, but must be accumulated within a nine-month period. Only service days will be counted, subject to the provisions of the Policy. The Policy has an Elimination Period of [30] or [90] days. You select the Elimination Period You want for Your Policy at the time of application.
Elimination Period. Benefits are payable commencing with the 181st calendar day of disability.
Elimination Period. The elimination period is the required period of time for which no benefits are payable following the date the insured is determined to be eligible for benefits.
Elimination Period. The elimination period is 90 calendar days except that those employees employed over two years at the Grand Rapids Community College and who meet the vesting requirements of the Michigan Public Schools Retirement System (10) years shall qualify for benefits after 60 calendar days.
Elimination Period. An Elimination Period is a period of time following eligibility for Long Term Care Benefits for which no benefits are payable. The Long Term Care Rider will have an Elimination Period of 90 days. Benefits will not be paid until the Elimination Period is satisfied, and benefits will not be retrospectively paid for the Elimination Period. The Elimination Period can be satisfied by any combination of days of Long Term Care Facility stay or days of Home Health Care. These days of care or services need not be continuous, but must be accumulated within a continuous period of 730 days. The Elimination Period has to be satisfied only once while this rider is in effect.
