Common use of Emergency Responder Leave Clause in Contracts

Emergency Responder Leave. Employees who are volunteer firefighters, auxiliary/reserve police, or a member of a local search and rescue organization, who are deployed on an emergency basis by the appropriate authority, shall be granted a leave of absence without pay for the duration of said deployment.
