Emergency Working Conditions. In the event that, due to conditions beyond the control of the Board, including but not limited to hurricanes, tropical storms, windstorms and tornadoes, the Superintendent/designee, or the District, or any other public official, declares an emergency and directs the District to commence emergency operations and/or orders the schools, facilities or administrative areas to be closed, bargaining unit members shall be compensated as described below:
