Employee Checks. This clause 19.1 applies to all individuals engaged to perform the Services at any time during the Contract Period. The Supplier shall ensure that full details of personnel policies and procedures covering all relevant matters (including discipline, grievance, equal opportunities, health and safety and recruitment) are published in written form and that copies (including any revisions of and/or amendments to the same) are issued to the Authority on or before the Service Commencement Date. The Supplier shall ensure that in respect of each individual intended to become a member of the Supplier Personnel, recruitment practices and procedures are followed in accordance with the Supplier's policies as supplied to the Authority in accordance with clause 19.1.2.

Employee Checks. (a) Identity Checks
Employee Checks. Background – The number of applications received for a position have increased dramatically making the selection of the right candidate an increasingly difficult skill. Organisations and interviewers rely heavily on the accuracy of the information provided by an applicant - from name, address and bank details through to qualifications, previous employment details advised on curriculum vitaes (CV’s). In some instances the sheer volume of candidates and lack of available resource means that accuracy checks and validation of data is not always carried out. On occasion failings in the accuracy of information provided do not become known during the selection process but becomes apparent after a position has been offered and accepted and the candidate is in situ. Basic Requirement - The Supplier will be expected to carry out the following checks on job applicants at the request of the Participating Authority. These checks may include but not be limited to:
Employee Checks. The Contractor shall, and shall procure that the Employer when employing or engaging any Access Employee (other than a Relevant Employee) act with the diligence and care expected of a prudent employer, and not employ or engage any such person in the provision of the Services unless the Contractor or the Employer, as the case may be: 31.4.1 has obtained references in respect of any such person containing no information indicating that such person is a threat to the health and safety of children; and 31.4.2 has carried out the check referred to under Clause 31.5 below to establish that no such person has any criminal conviction (excepting minor road traffic offences) or record of dishonesty or violence and such check has established that no such person has any criminal conviction or record of dishonesty or violence (with the exception of minor road traffic offences) and shall submit copies of such checks to the Authority within 5 days of receipt of such check from the relevant authority. and in addition to its obligations under this Clause 31 the Contractor agrees that it shall and shall procure that its sub-contractors of any tier comply with the Protection of Children (Scotland) Xxx 0000 as amended from time to time.

  • Employee Compensation The wages, salaries and other compensation paid to employees who will be employed for the benefit of the Project, and to others who perform special services for the benefit of the Project, to the extent not otherwise paid through a Cash Management System, shall be paid by Owner from a Project Account pursuant to this Section 9.2. (a) All wages, salaries and other compensation paid to employees of the Project, including, but not be limited to, unemployment insurance, social security, worker's compensation, employee benefit packages and other charges imposed by a governmental authority or provided for in a union agreement, shall (a) as to employees of Manager or any Subcontractor, be reimbursed by Owner to Manager (or directly to the applicable Subcontractor, if requested by Manager) without profit or mark-up, and (b) as to employees of Owner, be paid directly by Owner. Xxnager shall coordinate all disbursements and deposits for all compensation and other amounts payable with respect to persons employed in connection with the operation of the Project from an appropriate Project Account. Manager shall maintain complete payroll records for all employees. (b) In addition to the employment of employees set forth on Schedule 3, Manager may, in its discretion, from time to time employ personnel of its general operations to perform direct special services for the benefit of the Project; provided, however, that Manager shall obtain the prior approval of Owner for the employment of such special personnel, except in emergency situations or when timing requirements do not allow for such prior approval. Owner shall reimburse Manager for such direct services rendered by special personnel in an amount commensurate with normal and customary charges for such services by similarly qualified persons. Persons whose compensation may not be charged to Owner for services rendered to the Project includes the general asset management personnel of Manager who are not on-site of the Project.

  • Employee Only For medically single employees (Employee Only) who enroll in any health plan offered through the Health Services System, the City shall contribute ninety-three percent (93%) of the total health insurance premium, provided however, that the City’s contribution shall be capped at ninety-three percent (93%) of the Employee Only premium of the second-highest-cost plan.

  • Employee Lists The Controller shall also provide with each payment a list of employees paying membership fees and a list of employees paying service fees. All such lists shall contain the employee's name, employee number, classification, department number and amount deducted.

  • Employee Conduct Employee covenants, warrants and represents that during the period of Employee’s employment with the Company, Employee shall at all times comply with the Company’s written policy as in effect from time to time on the acceptance of gifts and gratuities from customers, vendors, suppliers, or other persons doing business with the Company.   • Contractor Employee Conduct The Contractor’s employees shall adhere to the standards of conduct prescribed in the Customer’s personnel policy and procedure guidelines, particularly rules of conduct, security procedures, and any other applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Customer. The Contractor shall ensure that the Contractor’s employees wear attire suitable for the position, either a standard uniform or business casual dress.

  • Sick Leave Policy It is the policy of the State of Ohio to not unreasonably deny sick leave to employees when requested. It is also the policy of the State to take corrective action for unauthorized use of sick leave and/or abuse of sick leave. It is further the policy of the State that when corrective and/or disciplinary action is taken, it will be applied progressively and consistently. It is the desire of the State of Ohio that when discipline is applied it will serve the purpose of correcting the performance of the employee.

  • Benefits for Part-Time Employees ‌ A part-time employee shall receive in lieu of all fringe benefits (being those benefits to an employee, paid in whole or part by the Hospital, as part of direct compensation or otherwise, including holiday pay, save and except salary, vacation pay, standby pay, call back pay, reporting pay, responsibility allowance, jury and witness duty, bereavement pay, and maternity supplemental unemployment benefits) an amount equal to 14% of his/her regular straight time hourly rate for all straight time hours paid.

  • Employee Coverage For employee dental coverage, the Employer contributes an amount equal to the lesser of ninety percent (90%) of the employee premium of the State Dental Plan, or the actual employee premium of the dental plan chosen by the employee. However, for calendar years beginning January 1, 2019, the minimum employee contribution shall be thirteen dollars and fifty cents ($13.50) per month.

  • Sick Leave Benefits Sick leave is an indemnity benefit and not an acquired right. A Nurse who is absent from a scheduled shift on approved sick leave shall only be entitled to sick leave pay if the Nurse is not otherwise receiving pay for that day, and providing the Nurse has sufficient sick leave credits.

  • Sick Leave Bonus ‌ For every six (6) months of perfect sick leave attendance after July 1, 1987, the employee will receive eight (8) hours of bonus time. This bonus time will be prorated for part-time employees. Such bonus time can be used for any leave purpose covered by this Agreement. Such bonus time shall be counted as vacation leave credits for purposes of determining eligibility for carry- over and cash payments.
