EMPLOYEE HEALTH AND SAFETY OBLIGATIONS. Employees must comply with all of the Employer’s procedures and policies and all reasonable instructions, in order to protect both the Employee’s own health and safety and the health and safety of other Employees, contractors, our customers and any other person having dealings with the Employer. Employees must not take or possess non-prescribed drugs or alcohol while at work. Employees must inform their immediate supervisor, prior to commencing work, if the Employee is under the influence of drugs (prescribed or non-prescribed), alcohol or any other substance likely to affect Employee’s ability to work. Failure to inform the Employee’s immediate supervisor, prior to commencing work, if they are under the influence of drugs (prescribed or non-prescribed), may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

13.4. Employees may not smoke anywhere upon the premises of the employer at any time. If the employer provides a designated place where an employee may smoke employees exercise such a right entirely of employees own free will and without any obligation of any kind falling upon the employer. The employer does not by making such provision condone or approve of employees smoking, or take any responsibility for the health issues that may arise there from.
13.5. A breach of Clause 13.1, 13.2, 13.3and 13.4 or may result in disciplinary proceedings and sanctions up to and including immediate dismissal.
