Employee’s Family i. A teacher may be granted up to three (3) days leave in each circumstance, with a maximum of five (5) days in a school year, in order to attend to members of the immediate family: the spouse (including common-law and same-sex partners), child and step-child (including in-law), parent (including in-law), guardian, sibling and step-siblings (including in-law), grandchild or grandparent of an employee (including in-law), requiring non- elective specialist medical care when that care is not available in Revelstoke. Such leave shall be with pay but with leave charged to sick leave, or when accumulated sick leave is exhausted, the teacher will have a deduction made at the cost of a Teacher-Teaching-On-Call. ii. Specialist appointment cards may be requested by the Superintendent.
Employee’s Family. Sick leave shall be used only when the presence of the employee is required at the home of the sick person, at the hospital or for the travel to and from a doctor’s appointment.

Employee’s Family. A leave of absence without pay shall be granted for a period not to exceed twelve weeks during any twelve month period to enable a permanent status employee to stay with the employee's family due to serious illness of or injury to a member of the immediate family or other family emergency. If the employee decides to use paid leave as part of the leave granted under this provision, the employee shall use up to ten days of accumulated sick leave, accumulated compensatory time off, personal leave, annual leave in excess of fifteen (15) days, and accumulated sick leave in that order. For leaves of absence granted under this provision, the total paid and unpaid leave shall not exceed twelve weeks and an employee may not use in excess of six weeks of sick leave during the leave of absence. At the employee’s request, the Court Administrator may extend or shorten the leave without pay at his/her discretion.

Employee’s Family the Employee's spouse or civil partner and children under the age of 18. FSA: the Financial Services Authority and its successors. Garden Leave: any period during which the Company has exercised its rights under clause 22.44. Group Company: the Company, its Subsidiaries or Holding Companies from time to time and any Subsidiary of any Holding Company from time to time. Incapacity: any sickness or injury which prevents the Employee from carrying out his duties.

  • Employees Covered Pursuant to and in accordance with all applicable provisions of Act 379 of the Public Acts of 1965, as amended, the Employer does hereby recognize the Union as the exclusive representative for the purpose of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment for the term of this Agreement of all employees of the Employer including part-time employees, in the following seniority units, excluding executive, administrative, academic, students, supervisory, professional, technical, clerical personnel, and those employees in other recognized bargaining units.

  • Employee Employee’s rights and obligations under this Agreement shall not be transferable by Employee by assignment or otherwise, without the prior written consent of the Company; provided, however, that if Employee shall die, all amounts then payable to Employee hereunder shall be paid in accordance with the terms of this Agreement to Employee’s devisee, legatee, or other designee, or if there be no such designee, to Employee’s estate.
