EMPLOYER INITIATED TRAINING. (a) Training is an important and integral part of maintaining a successful business, generally Employees will commence employment as an Introductory Employee who shall receive on-the-job-training under a “buddy” system.

EMPLOYER INITIATED TRAINING. (a) New Employees shall receive intensive on-the-job-training.
EMPLOYER INITIATED TRAINING. The Employer will pay all costs associated with Employer initiated training whether it is formal, internal, external and/or on-the-job, provided the employee successfully completes the course. Prior to undertaking the training, the Employee will enter into an agreed training plan detailing the responsibilities of the Employer and Employee, including the responsibility of the Employee to pay for the course should it not be successfully completed.

EMPLOYER INITIATED TRAINING. ‌ Employees continuously acquire new job skills through (a) their own initiative, (b) the help of other employees, or (c) their supervisor's assistance. Occasionally, the District may require an employee to attend a conference, workshop, or meeting to acquire specialized training. All such required attendance shall be at the school district's expense. Reimbursement for associated employee costs shall be pursuant to IRS rules, State law, or District Policy- whichever is applicable.
