EMPLOYER’S WORKS INFORMATION. 1 Description of the works The works are the design, manufacture, supply, packaging, transportation, delivery to the Site, of new paging system, the removal of existing old Plant and Materials, installation of new Plant and Materials, testing and commissioning of the new installed paging system for Modification 11020 DTV (the replacement of the paging system) as per TRS 240-134664990 (herein refered to as TRS 11020 Rev 2).

Description of the works Executive overview The scope of work includes the following for all six units at Xxxxx Power Station: Modification of the existing air supply line to the snooper line system; Installation of new air supply line from existing control air system up to existing fire protection valve; Supply and installation of isolating valve and 3/2 way solenoid valve upstream of new air supply line connection to fire protection valve; Install cabling from the DCS to the solenoid valve; Updating the logics on the control system controllers for the solenoid trip signal; Updating the logics on the control system controller for the 3 oil pumps to not use the pressure reading to trip but us the solenoid trip signal from the operator on order to trip; Updating the HMI on the control system servers; Employer’s objectives and purpose of the works The objective of the modification is to eliminate spurious trips by changing the automatic tripping of the snooper system to a critical alarm which shall notify the operator of a pressure drop in which case the operator will confirm whether it is a fire before he manually trips the turbine and the three power oil pumps. The operator will dump the air supply to the fire protection valve which will then automatically drain the control oil and subsequently trips the turbine.
