End of Year Grievances. In the event that a grievance is filed at such time that it cannot be processed through all of the steps in the grievance procedure by the end of the institution's fiscal year and, if left unresolved until the beginning of the next year, could result in irreparable harm to the grievant or Association, the time limits set forth herein shall be reduced so that the grievance procedure may be exhausted prior to the end of the institution's fiscal year or as soon thereafter as possible.

A meeting will be held between the parties within ten (10) days. The Union shall reply within ten (10) days after the meeting, and failing settlement, the matter may be referred to arbitration.

  • Processing Grievances The grievant shall be granted reasonable time off with pay from regularly scheduled duty hours to process a grievance, provided that the time off will be devoted to the prompt and efficient investigation and handling of grievances, subject to the following:
