Common use of Entitlement to Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Entitlement to Sick Leave. A permanent full-time or part-time employee who, after not less than three months continuous service with Xxxx Xxx, is unable to attend for duty during their ordinary working hours by reason of personal illness or personal incapacity not due to their own serious and wilful misconduct, shall be entitled to be paid the same rate of pay that they would have earned had they not been absent for the time of such non-attendance subject to the following:
