EQUAL EMPLOYMENT AND NONDISCRIMINATION. In connection with the services under this Agreement, ENGINEER agrees to comply with the applicable provisions of federal and state Equal Employment Opportunity for individuals based on color, religion, sex, or national origin, or disabled veteran, recently separated veteran, other protected veteran and armed forces service medal veteran status, disabilities under provisions of executive order 11246, and other employment, statutes and regulations, as stated in Title 41 Part 60 of the Code of Federal Regulations § 60-1.4 (a-f), § 60-300.5 (a-e), § 60-741 (a-e).

The full text is available upon request. Seller hereby agrees that it will comply with such provisions as are applicable, or when otherwise required by the Federal Acquisition Regulations. In that event, Seller shall certify such compliance as requested. In addition, this contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-300.5(a) and 41 CFR 60-741.5(a). These regulations prohibit discrimination against qualified, protected veterans and qualified individuals on the basis of disability, and require affirmative action by covered prime contractors and subcontractors to employ and advance in employment qualified, protected veterans and qualified individuals with disabilities.

  • Nondiscrimination The Contractor, with regard to the work performed by it during the Contract, will not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in the selection and retention of subcontractors, including procurements of materials and leases of equipment. The Contractor will not participate directly or indirectly in the discrimination prohibited by the Acts and the Regulations, including employment practices when the Contract covers any activity, project, or program set forth in Appendix B of 49 CFR Part 21.

  • Equal Employment Opportunity Contractor represents and warrants its compliance with all applicable duly enacted state and federal laws governing equal employment opportunities.

  • Employment Practices Contractor agrees to abide by the following employment laws: (i)Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. 2000e) which prohibits discrimination against any employee or applicant for employment or any applicant or recipient of services, on the basis of race, religion, color, or national origin; (ii) Executive Order No. 11246, as amended, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex; (iii) 45 CFR 90 which prohibits discrimination on the basis of age; (iv) Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, or the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 which prohibits discrimination on the basis of disabilities; and (v) Utah's Executive Order, dated December 13, 2006, which prohibits unlawful harassment in the work place. Contractor further agrees to abide by any other laws, regulations, or orders that prohibit the discrimination of any kind of any of Contractor’s employees.

  • Equal Opportunity Employer The CONSULTANT, In all services, programs, activities, hiring, and employment made possible by or resulting from this Agreement or any subcontract, there shall be no discrimination by Consultant or its selection and retention of sub-consultants, including procurement of materials and leases of equipment, of any level, or any of those entities employees, agents, sub-consultants, or representatives against any person because of sex, age (except minimum age and retirement provisions), race, color, religion, creed, national origin, marital status, or the presence of any disability, including sensory, mental or physical handicaps, unless based upon a bona fide occupational qualification in relationship to hiring and employment.   • Non-Discrimination 1. Nationals of a Contracting State shall not be subjected in the other Contracting State to any taxation or any requirement connected therewith, which is other or more burdensome than the taxation and connected requirements to which nationals of that other State in the same circumstances, in particular with respect to residence, are or may be subjected. This provision shall, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 1, also apply to persons who are not residents of one or both of the Contracting States.

  • Re-Employment An employee who resigns their position and within 90 days is re-employed, will be granted a leave of absence without pay covering those days absent and will retain all previous rights in relation to seniority and benefits subject to any benefit plan eligibility requirements.

  • OUTSIDE EMPLOYMENT Employees may engage in other employment outside of their State working hours so long as the outside employment does not involve a conflict of interest with their State employment. Whenever it appears that any such outside employment might constitute a conflict of interest, the employee is expected to consult with his/her appointing authority or other appropriate agency representative prior to engaging in such outside employment. Employees of agencies where there are established procedures concerning outside employment for the purpose of insuring compliance with specific statutory restrictions on outside employment are expected to comply with such procedures.
