Evening Conference Time. The District may assign any or all teachers in K-12 instructional programs, to be present for duty on two (2) evenings during each semester, for up to three (3) hours per evening, for consultation, conferences, and meetings with parents and/or students. School sites may schedule additional evening conferences as needed within the 187 duty day work year. Teachers may be granted compensatory time off on a date specified by the District, on a similar pro rata basis.

Compensation shall be based on the educational assistant’s normal daily/hourly rate up to forty (40) hours of work in a week, consistent with, Subd.

  • Church Conference Vote At least two-thirds (2/3) of the professing members present at a church conference of the Local Church must vote to disaffiliate from The United Methodist Church “for reasons of conscience regarding a change in the requirements and provisions of the Book of Discipline related to the practice of homosexuality or the ordination or marriage of self-avowed practicing homosexuals as resolved and adopted by the 2019 General Conference, or the actions or inactions of its annual conference related to these issues which follow.” Local Church shall provide documentation, to the satisfaction of Annual Conference, which evidences the result of the disaffiliation vote taken at the church conference. Such documentation must be certified by an authorized officer of Local Church and shall be included as an Exhibit A to this Disaffiliation Agreement.

  • Conference Leave Upon written request, supported by a copy of an invitation, an employee shall be granted leave paid at full salary of up to two thirty-fifths of her Appointment Contract(s) to present papers at academic conferences.   • Crib Time 17.6.1 An employee working overtime shall be allowed a crib time of 20 minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of overtime worked provided the employee continues working after such crib time.

A maximum accrual of compensatory time shall be forty (40) hours. Flex Time. The County recognizes and supports the concept of Flex time. Flex time is allowed within the work week as it is defined in Article 20, Section 2 of this contract. If an employee requests, an employee and their department head may agree to allow an employee to flex their schedule. However, in some departments and under some circumstances flex time may not be feasible and will not be permitted. No employee shall be required to take flex time off in order to avoid the payment of overtime or as a condition of continued employment.

  • Show Up Time An employee who reports to work in the usual manner without having been notified that there is no work available and is sent home because of lack of work before having worked three (3) hours shall receive a minimum of three (3) hours pay at their prevailing hourly rate. The employee shall also receive their full accommodation allowance if and when applicable. Each employee must inform the Employer of a means of being contacted on short notice. If an attempt is made by the Employer to contact an employee by way of the contact information provided, in an effort to inform the employee of a lack of work, and the Employer is unable to do so, the employee will not be entitled to show up time.
