Meetings with Parents. 6.1 The allocation for meetings with parents has been retained at a maximum of 30 hours in all sectors. Such Parents’ Meetings will normally take place during the evening but could be end-on to the school day subject to the school agreement or even outwith the formal Parents’ evening structure. The meetings can either be face to face or online.
6.2 Staff should not take appointments beyond 2.5 hours per Parents’ Evening accepting that there will be some slippage in the agreed timetable.
6.3 Normally, staff would not be expected to attend for groups which they do not teach nor have any wider responsibility. Staff are not required to remain when their appointments are completed.
Meetings with Parents. Drivers who are required to attend meetings involving parents shall have the right to request the presence of the Grievance Chairperson. Bus Drivers will be paid at their regular rate of pay.
Meetings with Parents. The school administration may convene the teachers for any parent- teacher meetings held during the teachers' work year, taking into consideration the following provisions:
a) Outside the twenty-seven (27) hours provided for in clause 8-6.02, the teacher may not be required to attend more than three (3) meetings to meet parents. No teacher shall be required to be present for more than two hours (2) at any meeting called by virtue of this section.
b) The school administration, together with the School Council, shall set the dates and hours of these meetings.
c) The school administration shall give at least five (5) workdays written notice for meetings called by virtue of this section.
d) The school administration may agree with the School Council to increase either of the limits provided in subparagraph a). In such cases, each teacher shall be compensated by a reduction in the regular workweek equal to the number of hours by which the limit was exceeded.
e) The school administration and an individual teacher may agree to increase either of the limits provided in subparagraph a). In such cases, the teacher shall be compensated by a reduction in the regular workweek equal to the number of hours by which the limit was exceeded.
f) An itinerant teacher shall receive one (1) day of paid leave. This leave is to be taken at a time agreed upon between the teacher and school administrations concerned, as compensation for attending meetings over and above the three (3) stipulated in subparagraph a).
Meetings with Parents. Staff often meet with parents outwith the formal Parents’ Evening structure. To take account of such meetings the allocation for meetings with parents may be increased where appropriate. Agreement should be reached at school level on the timing and structure of parents' meetings. .
Meetings with Parents. An update of how your child is doing will be provided to you on a daily basis. Upon mid program, a meeting is set up with the tutor to overview all that your child accomplished. If at any point during our services, a problem should occur, please feel free to contact our office and we will resolve the issue at the earliest instant. Educare center is open year round however we do observe some national holidays. Parents will be informed of any day off ahead of time. You must provide written or emailed notice stopping or transferring. We will count out thirty days from your notice, and the month that day falls into will be the last month for which tuition will be collected. Your month starts as marked in your contract. You will owe tuition for the entire month regardless of what day of the month you leave the center. Tuition will continue to be charged until a written or email notice has been received to announce discontinuation of your child’s participation in the program. For any returned checks or EFT transactions, the current bank fee charge will be assessed against your account. In the event a parent defaults in payment, EduCare shall charge their account a penalty of 10% of the current due amount. Discounts: o Discounted pricing based on program enrolled in as well as family registration.
