Common use of Extended Medical Leave Clause in Contracts

Extended Medical Leave. Should the Interim Minister suffer an illness, injury, or disabling condition that continues after all accrued sick, vacation, and study leave has been exhausted, the Congregation will place the Interim Minister on “Extended Medical Leave.” Extended Medical Leave will not extend beyond the earlier of the commencement of long-term disability benefit or 90 days following the exhaustion of all sick, vacation, and study leave.24
