Extension of Parental Leave Period. 9.1 An employee may extend the period of Parental Leave once only by giving the employer notice in writing of the extended period of at least 14 days before the start of the extended period. The period of leave cannot be extended beyond the maximum period of Parental Leave provided in this Appendix.
