Extra and Co-Curricular Positions. 1. An employee who has satisfactorily completed an extra-duty assignment shall be recommended for the position for the succeeding year. A vacancy shall occur when a person is not recommended for the position or when the person declines the position. When a vacancy occurs, the extra-duty assignment shall be posted as vacant.

Extra and Co-Curricular Positions. When JUHSD credentialed employees cannot be found for these annually-appointed positions, the district agrees to consider full-time BISS and OSS employees equally with outside-of-district credentialed personnel.
