Extreme Situations. Notwithstanding the above, it is understood that the Employer reserves the right, in extreme situations, to discipline an employee for just cause without having first issued a Letter of Warning pursuant to Article 11.05, subject to Articles 9 and 10.

Extreme Situations. Unless otherwise directed, each employee is expected to report to work on every scheduled work day. If all or part of a scheduled work day is cancelled by the City due to snow, or in other extreme weather conditions, employees will be compensated unless an employee is on vacation or has called in sick or is on other paid or unpaid leave, in which event the employee will be charged with one full day of applicable leave or, in the case of unpaid leave, not paid for the day. If an employee's usual assignment or place of work is unavailable (e.g., due to the closing of a particular office or building), the affected employee shall be given an alternative assignment and/or work location where possible. If no alternative assignment and/or work location is available for such employee, the affected employee shall be sent home with pay.

  • Emergency Situations If the condition is an emergency, this will be communicated to the Contractor with the request that corrections are to be accomplished immediately. The Contractor shall respond to the notice in emergency situations within twenty-four hours. If the Contractor fails to respond within this time limit, the Owner may correct the defect and charge the Contractor for the Work. If it is determined the complaint is not the responsibility of the Contractor, the Contractor shall be promptly paid for the cost of the corrective work. The Contractor shall give notice in writing to the Owner when corrections have been completed.

  • Emergency Situation In the event of an emergency situation beyond our reasonable control, such as an "act of God," war, fire, or natural disaster, services involving your account could be available only in a modified or reduced form or could be entirely unavailable. Unless expressly prohibited by applicable law, you agree that we will have no liability to you for such modification, reduction, or unavailability of services caused by an emergency situation.

  • Vulnerability Management BNY Mellon will maintain a documented process to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities affecting its systems used to provide the services. BNY Mellon will classify security vulnerabilities using industry recognized standards and conduct continuous monitoring and testing of its networks, hardware and software including regular penetration testing and ethical hack assessments. BNY Mellon will remediate identified security vulnerabilities in accordance with its process.

  • Infrastructure Vulnerability Scanning Supplier will scan its internal environments (e.g., servers, network devices, etc.) related to Deliverables monthly and external environments related to Deliverables weekly. Supplier will have a defined process to address any findings but will ensure that any high-risk vulnerabilities are addressed within 30 days.

  • Special Situations The parties recognize that under certain circumstances a Change in Control may occur under conditions which make it inappropriate for Employee to receive the termination benefits or protection set forth in this Agreement. Therefore, in the event that a Change in Control occurs for any one of the following reasons, the provisions of Sections 2, 6 and 9 shall not apply:

  • Traffic Management The Customer will not utilize the Services in a manner which, in the view of the Centre Operator, significantly distorts traffic balance on the Centre Operator’s circuits which are shared with other users. If, in the reasonable view of the Centre Operator, the Customer’s traffic patterns cause or may cause such distortion, the Customer should have a dedicated circuit capability. If the Customer declines to do so then the Centre Operator may suspend the Services while the matter is being resolved. If there is no resolution within 5 business days then either party may terminate the Agreement.

  • Crisis Management 1. The Parties reaffirm their commitment to cooperating in promoting international peace and stability.

  • Cultural ceremonial leave may be taken as whole or part days off. Each day or part thereof, shall be deducted from:

  • New Member Orientation The Employer will notify the Union of any newly represented temporary employees. The Union will be given the opportunity to have a Union representative speak with the newly represented temporary employees for not more than thirty (30) minutes to provide information about the Union and this Agreement.
