Fall Recess. The District, in its discretion, may designate that all schools and all District offices and sites will be closed during every Fall (Thanksgiving Week) Recess, except that the District in its sole discretion may designate that certain schools, offices, and/or sites remain open with a full or limited staff during the Fall Recess. The District's decision as to whether to close all school and sites as well as to designate which schools, offices, and/or sites are to remain open and the number and kind of staff required shall be final and not subject to grievance/arbitration, court or administrative challenge, or any other challenge whatsoever. If the District decides to close District offices, sites and schools during the Fall Recess, no later than June 30th of the preceding school year prior to such closure, the District shall notify the Union of the closure in writing and thereafter participate in impact bargaining at the Union's request.

Fall Recess. In years in which the District, in its discretion, designates all schools and District offices and sites as closed, except those it designates to remain open with a full or limited staff during the Fall (Thanksgiving) Recess, twelve month unit members at those schools, District offices and sites that are closed will be allowed to use earned vacation, if available, during the Fall Recess on the days the specified schools, District offices and sites are closed. An employee whose vacation bank does not contain sufficient earned vacation days to cover the days the schools and District offices and sites will be closed during Fall Recess may be advanced vacation days which the employee had not yet earned but would be entitled to earn during the remainder of the school year, if available, to use during the Fall Recess.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.

  • Hire Period The Hire Period shall commence from the time stated in the order confirmation unless the Equipment is collected by the Hirer, in which case the Hire Period shall commence when the Equipment leaves our premises. The Hire Period shall terminate when the goods are received back at our premises.

  • Waiting Period All full-time employees who are actively working and have completed thirty (30) days service shall be enrolled for the coverages and benefits set forth in this Exhibit as a condition of employment.

  • OPERATING DURING CLOSURE PERIOD If permission is granted to operate during a closure period listed in Clause 1-25 ACTIVITY TIMING RESTRICTION, Purchaser shall provide a maintenance plan to include further protection of state resources. Purchaser shall obtain written approval from the Contract Administrator for the maintenance plan, and shall put preventative measures in place before operating during the closure period. Purchaser is required to maintain all haul roads at their own expense including those listed in Contract Clause C-060 DESIGNATED ROAD MAINTAINER. If other operators are using, or desire to use these designated maintainer roads, a joint operating plan must be developed. All parties shall follow this plan.

  • Posting Period Vacancies that the University intends to fill shall be posted for a period of seven (7) full working days before the deadline for applications for the position.

  • Curation A. Curation for those archaeological collections generated as a result of the studies completed for this Undertaking or as a result of data recovery activities will be undertaken in accordance with the terms of 36 CFR part 79 and the stipulations listed in parts B through D of this Stipulation.

  • Billing Period The calendar month shall be the standard period for all charges and payments under this Agreement. On or before the fifteenth (15th) day following the end of each month, Seller shall render to Buyer an invoice for the payment obligations incurred hereunder during the preceding month, based on the Energy Delivered in the preceding month, and any RECs deposited in Buyer’s GIS account or a GIS account designated by Buyer to Seller in writing in the preceding month. Such invoice shall contain supporting detail for all charges reflected on the invoice, and Seller shall provide Buyer with additional supporting documentation and information as Buyer may request.

  • Scheduled Downtime For the purposes of this Agreement, Scheduled Downtime will mean those hours, as determined by us but which will not occur between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday without your authorization or unless exigent circumstances exist, during which time we will perform scheduled maintenance or adjustments to the Environment. We will use our best efforts to provide you with at least twenty-four (24) hours of notice prior to scheduling Scheduled Downtime.

  • week period If an employee fails to return at the end of the family care or medical leave, the CSU may require repayment of insurance premiums paid during the unpaid portion of the leave. The CSU shall not require repayment of premiums if the employee's failure to return is due to his/her serious health condition or due to circumstances beyond the employee's control.

  • Xxxxx Period After payment of the first Dues, the Subscriber is entitled to a grace period of 30 days for the pay- ment of any Dues due. During this grace period, the Agreement will remain in force. However, the Sub- xxxxxxx will be liable for payment of Dues accruing during the period the Agreement continues in force.
