Common use of Federation Leave Clause in Contracts

Federation Leave. The Federation shall have thirty (30) days during each school year to use for Federation business. These days are to be used at the discretion of the Federation as authorized by the President of the Federation. These days will be without loss of pay and are non-accumulative. The Superintendent may, in any given year, grant additional Federation days. The Federation shall give the Employer reasonable notice and shall not use more than five (5) of these days on any given day without the approval of the Superintendent.
