Long Term Occasional Teachers shall be paid for each full day of employment at a daily rate of 1/194 of the salary they would receive if they were placed on the salary grid in the Board’s most recent collective agreement for the Teachers Bargaining Unit according to qualifications as described in clause 14.04, and teaching experience as described in Clause 14.05. 14.02.01 A member having been placed on a short term work assignment which then exceeds ten (10) working days shall be paid as in Clause 14.02 from the first day of the work assignment. 14.02.02 A member who received a confirmation number from a call-out system for a work assignment or who has been requested for an assignment by the school administration and who arrives for work without having received prior notice of cancellation, at least two (2) hours prior to work, shall be paid one half (1/2) a day's pay. If alternate work to replace the original work assignment has been offered to the member and the member refuses to accept such alternate work, the member forfeits the half (1/2) day's pay mentioned above.

  • Long Term Occasional Teachers or teachers hired in term positions, shall be eligible for the SEB as described herein for a maximum of eight (8) weeks with the length of the benefit limited by the term of the assignment. Teachers on daily casual assignments are not entitled to the benefits outlined in this article.

  • Long Term Leave Any employee who declines a reappointment as a Teaching Assistant in order to interrupt his/her program of graduate study for a period not to exceed one (1) year will not jeopardize his/her consideration for reappointment under Article l3.03.

  • CONTRACT TERM - RENEWAL In addition to any stated renewal periods in the Contract, any Contract or unit portion thereof let by the Commissioner may be extended by the Commissioner for an additional period(s) of up to one year with the written concurrence of the Contractor and Comptroller. Such extension may be exercised on a month-to-month basis or in other stated periods of time during the one year extension.

  • COMMERCIAL REUSE OF SERVICES The member or user herein agrees not to replicate, duplicate, copy, trade, sell, resell nor exploit for any commercial reason any part, use of, or access to 's sites.

  • Traveling Teachers Traveling teachers are those who are not assigned a dedicated classroom of their own due to limited space. If traveling is necessary within a subject area, traveling status should be rotated. In order to facilitate optimum conditions for instruction, traveling teachers should, to the greatest extent practicable, be provided the following: 1. A quiet, secure space that contains a desk and filing space; 2. Storage space within the classrooms used for instruction; 3. A designated bulletin board and/or chalk or white board in the classrooms used for instruction; 4. An appropriate cart to transfer materials; 5. Supplies needed for instruction to the same extent as other teachers and those unique to traveling teachers.

  • Progressive Discipline Both parties endorse the principle of progressive discipline as applied to professionals.

  • Multi-Year Planning The CAPS will be in a form acceptable to the LHIN and may be required to incorporate (1) prudent multi-year financial forecasts; (2) plans for the achievement of performance targets; and (3) realistic risk management strategies. It will be aligned with the LHIN’s then current Integrated Health Service Plan and will reflect local LHIN priorities and initiatives. If the LHIN has provided multi-year planning targets for the HSP, the CAPS will reflect the planning targets.

  • Service Term XOOM agrees to act as your exclusive natural gas supplier and will provide competitive retail natural gas service to you. The term of this Contract will begin when your local utility switches your account to XOOM and will continue on a month-to-month basis as set forth in the accompanying Product Sheet.

  • Contract Term Extension “Contract Term Extension” means an extension of the term of this contract, at the request of Purchaser, under this Subsection. This Subsection does not obligate Contracting Officer to grant Contract Term Extension.

  • Multi-year Planning Targets Schedule A may reflect an allocation for the first Funding Year of this Agreement as well as planning targets for up to two additional years, consistent with the term of this Agreement. In such an event, the HSP acknowledges that if it is provided with planning targets, these targets: a. are targets only, b. are provided solely for the purposes of planning, c. are subject to confirmation, and d. may be changed at the discretion of the Funder in consultation with the HSP. The HSP will proactively manage the risks associated with multi-year planning and the potential changes to the planning targets; and the Funder agrees that it will communicate any changes to the planning targets as soon as reasonably possible.
