Final Utility Coordination. 1. Once the additional services for utility potholing are performed (soon after the Preliminary Design Review) and the conflict locations are verified per Colorado Subsurface Utility Law (SB18-167) Level D, Contractor will conduct a Utility Coordination Meeting. All affected utility companies shall be invited to the meeting. The purposes of the meeting will be to: o Review conflicts o Confirm how the conflicts should be resolved o Confirm who is financially responsible for work required to resolve the conflict o Confirm which portions of the work will be performed by Utility Company versus City Contractor forces o Confirm the duration or expected completion date of the utility work and the advance notification time requirements.

Final Utility Coordination. Upon completion of Task 4, Xxxxxx-Xxxx will submit the approved Right-of-Way plans to utility owners identified in Task 6.1. The submittal to each utility owner will consist of an electronic set of plan drawings (PDF format) and a letter requesting that the utility company prepare final utility relocation plans. Xxxxxx-Xxxx will prepare for and host an additional utility coordination meeting to discuss the final utility relocation plans and create a plan and schedule for the relocation of utilities. Xxxxxx-Xxxx will not perform any utility relocation design services as part of this task. It is assumed that each utility owner will design, provide plans for, and construct their utility relocations.

  • Utility Coordination Identify all potential utility conflicts and provide preliminary office check plans showing the problem locations, posted to the City’s FTP site. Plans will clearly identify specific utility company facilities by color and by name (i.e. not just “gas” or “fiber optic”). ENGINEER shall include a conflict list for each utility, also posted to the FTP site. ENGINEER shall meet with utility company representatives to review plans and utility verification forms (Attachment No. 3 to Exhibit “A”) at each milestone date and as directed by the CITY and as determined necessary by the ENGINEER. This in- formation will be compiled into a summary report (Attachment No. 4 to Exhibit “A” also available on the City’s FTP site) maintained and updated by ENGINEER as necessary to present a cohesive and reflective status of utilities, and provided to the City as necessary. ENGINEER shall maintain involvement with utility companies until all conflicts have been resolved (not just identified). When appropriate, the City Engineer will approve the identification on plans of conflicts to be resolved during construction. ENGINEER shall meet with involved utility company/ies and project contractor to resolve any conflicts with utilities that occur during construction.
