Common use of First Aid Allowance Clause in Contracts

First Aid Allowance. An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. Xxxx's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

The First Aid Allowance will not apply where the requirement to hold a first aid certificate is a requirement of the position.

An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. Xxxx's St Xxxx Ambulance or a similar body shall must be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 20.54 per week extra if appointed by their the employer to perform first aid duty.
