Fleet Expansion. The PERFORMING PARTY understands that funds under this Agreement cannot be used for the purchase of vehicles or equipment to expand a fleet. The PERFORMING PARTY agrees that:

Fleet Expansion. Recipient agrees that funds under this award cannot be used for the purchase of vehicles to expand a fleet. Vehicle replacement projects are eligible for funding on the condition that the following criteria are satisfied: a. The vehicle being replaced must be fully operational and in current, regular service. b. The replacement vehicle will continue to perform the same function and operation as the vehicle that is being replaced. c. The replacement vehicle will be of the same type and similar gross vehicle weight rating or horsepower as the vehicle being replaced. Highway: The replacement vehicle must not be in a larger weight class than the existing vehicle (Class 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8). The engine’s primary intended service class must match the vehicle’s weight class. The vehicle, equipment, and/or engine being replaced must be scrapped or rendered permanently disabled within ninety (90) days of being replaced. i. Cutting a three-inch by three-inch hole in the engine block (the part of the engine containing the cylinders) is the preferred scrapping method. ii. Disabling the chassis may be completed by cutting through the frame/frame rails on each side at a point located between the front and rear axles. iii. Evidence of appropriate disposal is required in a final assistance agreement report submitted to DANR and includes a signed certificate of disposal and colored digital photos of the engine tag (showing serial number, engine family number, and engine model year), the destroyed engine block, and cut frame rails or other cut structural components as applicable. iv. Scrapped engines and equipment and vehicle components may be salvaged from the unit being replaced (e.g. plow blades, shovels, seats, tires, etc.). If scrapped or salvaged engines, vehicles, equipment, or parts are to be sold, program income requirements apply.
Fleet Expansion. Park City shall not use Funding Assistance for the purchase of vehicles to expand its fleet.
Fleet Expansion. During the term of this Agreement, RAI will advise Frontier of any regional jet aircraft that RAI believes will become available, whether due to RAI option positions, the return of aircraft previously in service for another airline, or the removal of the aircraft from RAI's own fleet, or otherwise, for potential inclusion in the Frontier fleet of Covered Aircraft. Notwithstanding the foregoing, such regional jet aircraft shall only be deemed a Covered Aircraft upon an amendment to this Agreement.

Fleet Expansion. Permit Holder may be granted a fleet increase based on the standards outlined in 24 DCMR subsections 3319.1 through 3319.6.
Fleet Expansion. The recipient agrees that funds cannot be used for the purchase of devices to expand a fleet. The inefficient, higher- polluting device must be fully operational and in service at the time of replacement. The recipient agrees that the cleaner, lower-polluting replacement device: a. will continue to perform a similar function and operation as the device that is being permanently rendered inoperable ; b. will achieve the estimated emission reductions included in the EPA-approved workplan; and c. is consistent in its intended use, operation and location as described in the EPA-approved workplan.

Fleet Expansion. Mesa is currently obligated to acquire 16 additional CRJs at a rate of one CRJ per calendar month commencing in September 1998 and ending in December 1999 (the "Committed Acquisitions") and holds options to acquire 16 additional CRJs commencing in June 2000 (the "CRJ Options"). (a) In each of September, October, November and December 1998, January, February and March 1999 and a calendar month during the period of April-December, 1999 as mutually agreed to, in writing, between AWA and Mesa on or before [CONFIDENTIAL PORTION DELETED AND FILED SEPARATELY WITH THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION] (the "CRJ Decision Date"), Mesa shall acquire [CONFIDENTIAL PORTION DELETED AND FILED SEPARATELY WITH THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION] new CRJ from the Committed Acquisitions and shall increase the Subfleet of CRJs by [CONFIDENTIAL PORTION DELETED AND FILED SEPARATELY WITH THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION] new CRJ (thereby increasing the Subfleet of CRJs to [CONFIDENTIAL PORTION DELETED AND FILED SEPARATELY WITH THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION] CRJs). If AWA and Mesa are unable to agree on the month for the final CRJ delivery required by this Paragraph 1.
