FLIGHTThe termin flight” means the time commencing with the actual take off run of the aircraft and continuing thereafter until it has completed its landing run.
FLIGHT. 5.1 The Carrier shall issue/obtain all documents and permissions necessary for carrying out the Flight as are necessary pursuant to legal and inter-governmental regulations for air transport. 5.2 The Carrier shall not be liable for any consequences resulting from any permissions (for example, flight, over flight or landing permissions) not being granted, provided that the Carrier has applied for permissions in time and in the right order after receiving the necessary information and documents from the Charterer in time. 5.3 The Captain shall have complete discretion to take decisions concerning the preparation of the Aircraft for Flight, whether or not the Flight shall be undertaken or abandoned, once undertaken, the deviation from the proposed route, where landing shall be made and all other matters relating to the operation of the Aircraft. The Charterer accepts all such decisions as final and binding and in the event that any of the above occurs, any additional costs incurred by the Carrier in doing so shall be payable by the Charterer to the Carrier on demand. 5.4 All ground and flight personnel (including cabin staff), are authorised to take orders only from the Carrier unless specific agreement shall first have been obtained from the Carrier whereby certain defined instructions may be accepted by such personnel from the Charterer.

Flights are optional for repeat applicants and per this agreement your camp will be billed for the flight.

Related to FLIGHT

  • Passengers THE CARRIER shall be liable for damages resulting from death or bodily injury to a Passenger by the sole reason that the act which caused the damages took place on board the aircraft or during boarding or deboarding the aircraft.

  • Flight Crew (a) Lessor shall employ or engage and pay all salaries, benefits and and/or compensation for a fully-qualified flight crew with appropriate credentials to conduct each flight undertaken under this Agreement. Lessor may use temporary flight crewmembers for a flight under this Agreement only if any such temporary crewmember is FlightSafety (or SimuFlite) trained, is current on the Aircraft and satisfies all of the requirements and conditions under the insurance coverage for the Aircraft. All flight crewmembers shall be included on any insurance policies that Lessor is required to maintain hereunder. (b) The qualified flight crew provided by Lessor shall exercise all of its duties and responsibilities with regard to the safety of each flight conducted hereunder in accordance with applicable FAR’s. The Aircraft shall be operated under the standards and policies established by Lessor. Final authority to initiate or terminate each flight, and otherwise to decide all matters relating to the safety of any given flight or requested flight, shall rest with the pilot-in-command of that flight. The flight crew may, in its sole discretion, terminate any flight, refuse to commence any flight, or take any other action that, in the judgment of the pilot-in-command, is necessitated by considerations of safety. No such termination or refusal to commence by the pilot-in-command shall create or support any liability for loss, injury, damage or delay in favor of Lessee or any other person. Lessor shall not be liable to Lessee or any other person for loss, injury or damage occasioned by the delay or failure to furnish the Aircraft and flight crew pursuant to this Agreement for any reason.

  • Transportation Services i) In the event that transportation services for a student served by CONTRACTOR pursuant to an Individual Services Agreement are to be provided by a party other than CONTRACTOR or the LEA or its transportation providers, such services shall be reflected in a separate agreement signed by the parties hereto, and provided to the LEA and SELPA Director by the CONTRACTOR. Except as provided below, CONTRACTOR shall compensate the transportation provider directly for such services, and shall charge the LEA for such services at the actual and reasonable rates billed by the transportation provider, plus a ten percent (.

  • Dispatching 1. Dispatchers will schedule and assign drivers and vehicles in accordance with the trips scheduled for each day; 2. Dispatchers will assist drivers while they are in service to carry out the assigned trips on time by providing address assistance and telephoning passengers as needed. 3. Dispatchers will monitor the performance of scheduled trips, reassigning trips and/or adjusting the number of vehicles in service as needed to ensure on-time performance in the most efficient manner. 4. Dispatchers will provide continuous monitoring of assigned radio frequencies during all hours that vehicles are in service, answer and respond to telephone calls on the Ride Status line, and respond to calls from drivers and OoA staff.

  • Aircraft This peril includes self-propelled missiles and spacecraft.

  • Shiftwork 28.1 In this clause Shiftwork means work comprising recurring periods in which different groups of workers do the same jobs in rotation. 28.2 Shiftworker for the purposes of this clause is defined as an Employee who is required by the Employer to work Shiftwork, which commences or finishes outside 6.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m.

  • Configuration The configuration for the Purchase Right Aircraft will be the Detail Specification for Model 767-3S2F aircraft at the revision level in effect at the time of the Supplemental Agreement. Such Detail Specification will be revised to include (i) changes required to obtain required regulatory certificates and (ii) other changes as mutually agreed upon by Boeing and Customer.

  • Configuration Management The Contractor shall maintain a configuration management program, which shall provide for the administrative and functional systems necessary for configuration identification, control, status accounting and reporting, to ensure configuration identity with the UCEU and associated cables produced by the Contractor. The Contractor shall maintain a Contractor approved Configuration Management Plan that complies with ANSI/EIA-649 2011. Notwithstanding ANSI/EIA-649 2011, the Contractor’s configuration management program shall comply with the VLS Configuration Management Plans, TL130-AD-PLN-010-VLS, and shall comply with the following:

  • Spares The Contractor shall ensure that the Contractor’s operational base at the Site is at all times stocked with spare parts for the Contractor's Equipment that meet the requirements of the Contract, together with all necessary or desirable packing and marking for that purpose and that such spare parts are sufficient to ensure that the Work /services can continue in the event of failure of the Contractor’s Equipment.
