Funeral Allowance. The Company shall provide a Funeral Allowance of $2,500.00 dollars, payable to the designated beneficiary, to those pensioners who are not eligible for the benefit under the B.C.M.E.A. Welfare and Pension programs.

Where an employee dies while in the employ of the Commission, an amount of one month's salary for each completed year of continuous service, to a maximum of six months salary, , shall be paid to their beneficiary of record, or their estate where no beneficiary has been designated to allow for funeral or other ceremony expenses.
