FURNISHING OF TOOLS. The Employer shall furnish all drills, hacksaw blades, all wrenches over one (1) inch, files, taps, reamers or any other special tool that is not normally carried in an employees kit of tools including all power activated tools whether electric, chemical propellant air or gas powered. Any stock room crib that is on the premises of a job where the distribution of tools or materials, etc., are being distributed to employees, shall be operated by an employee depending on the type of work being performed.

FURNISHING OF TOOLS. 21.1 The Company shall furnish all tools and equipment for its employees, except to maintenance employees, in which case these employees shall furnish their own hand tools. In case of breakage or loss, the Company will replace or repair such tools;
FURNISHING OF TOOLS. 19.1 Tools customarily and necessarily used by the Company’s employees in the performance of their duties shall be furnished by the Company. Employees shall be responsible for the return of such tools to the Company in good condition (ordinary wear and tear excepted) and shall reimburse the Company for any tools lost or carelessly damaged. 19.2 The Union and the Company agree to allow employees to receive truck stock at either the employee’s home, when mutually agreed, or other Company locations as determined by the Company. If an employee agrees to receive shipments at a home address, they will not be held responsible for stored material that is stolen or damaged while at their home. If the Company elects to send material to Company locations other than the Mattoon General Warehouse, that material will not be handled by clerical personnel. 19.3 The Union and the Company agree to utilize global positioning technology as a tool for more efficient dispatch and operation of the business and to provide better service to the customer. Company management personnel will be responsible for maintaining the technology in Company vehicles and utilizing the data provided with these systems. The intent of this monitoring is not to monitor employee activity. If through this monitoring an employee is thought to be in violation of a Company policy, this will first be discussed with the employee to see if there is an explanation. If an employee is found to be in violation of a Company policy, the normal appropriate disciplinary action will be imposed.
FURNISHING OF TOOLS. The Company will furnish necessary tools and equipment for work including boots, raincoats, hats and other protective equipment when necessary for the employees in the course of their work. Employees issued tools or protective equipment are responsible for loss or damage other than normal wear. The Company will provide uniform service for regular maintenance employees on the basis of two (2) changes per week at no cost to such employees.

Employees, terminating their employment, are required to return their uniforms to the plant within three (3) days of the last day of work.

When a tool crib is in use by the Millwright Employer to house Millwrights’ tools, if it is staffed, it shall be staffed by a Millwright. The following list of Millwright tools may be required by the Employer to be furnished by the Millwright Employee: 1 metal tool box -1 one inch outside micrometer -1 set of standard feeler gages - 1 shaft level - protractor combination square - set 3/8” drive sockets - set 1/2” drive sockets to 1 1/4” - set open end and box wrenches 3/8” to 1 1/4” Xxxxxxx 6”, 8”, or 12” - ball peen hammer 16 or 24 oz. - set screw drivers and Xxxxxxxx - 18” level Torpedo level - complete set of Xxxxx wrenches to 3/8” or 1/2” - flashlight - pair side cutters - pair channelocks - pair vise grips - 6’ ruler - flex tape 12’ - scraper - center punch - hack saw frame-xxxxx xxx-dividers 6” or 8” - utility knife - cold chisel - magnet - mirror - xxxxxxx - tin snips - 6” scale - 2 drift pins 2 tap wrenches - chalk line-pry bar. Employers requesting Xxxxxxxxxxx, shall specify the nature of the work to be performed so only the tools required for the work will be on the job site.
