Further Pregnancy while on Parental Leave. Where an employee or the spouse/partner of an employee becomes pregnant or adopts a child whilst on parental leave, a further period of parental leave will be granted. Should this second period of parental leave commence during the currency of the existing period of parental leave, then any residual maternity leave from the existing entitlement lapses.

Further Pregnancy while on Parental Leave. Where an Employee becomes pregnant whilst on parental leave a further period of parental leave shall be granted. If an Employee enters on the second period of parental leave during the currency of the initial period of parental leave, then any residual parental leave from the initial entitlement ceases. An Employee who commences a subsequent period of parental leave while on unpaid parental leave under this clause is entitled to be paid at their normal rate (i.e. the rate at which they were paid before proceeding on maternity leave). An Employee who commences a subsequent period of parental leave during the first twelve (12) months of a return to duty on a Part time basis as provided under this clause is entitled to be paid at their substantive Full time rate for the subsequent period of parental leave. An Employee who commences a subsequent period of parental leave more than twelve (12) months after returning to duty on a Part time basis this clause, will be entitled to paid parental leave for the subsequent period of parental leave at their Part time rate.
