General Clean Up Duties. The Renter shall have responsibility at the end of the event to assure that the following tasks have been completed: • Coffee machines/urns have been unplugged, emptied and cleaned. • Heating appliances such as portable ovens and hot pads have been unplugged and cleaned. • All food stuffs have been removed from the refrigerator. • All garbage has been properly bagged and deposited on top of the outside garbage bin. • The thermostat settings in the Stirling Room have been returned to 70° (summer) and 66° (winter). • Washrooms are checked, toilets and urinals are flushed. • Bathroom and Stirling Room lights have been turned off and all doors have been locked. • Renters must ensure that the back-door exit is closed and locked after the event has concluded. • Main hall lights have been turned off (the outside and foyer lights are to remain on). • Keys are returned to the Town Office. The Town of Saltcoats will be responsible to provide appropriate cleansers and soaps, garbage bags and garbage receptacles. It is requested that all renters use only the cleansers and soaps provided under the sink in the kitchen area. If any damages occur to the building or its contents, please notify the Town Office as soon as possible. Items that need to be fixed, replaced or purchased should also be reported to the Town Office.

A copy of the Renter’s Checklist is attached to be filled out & returned. The Town of Grand Coulee is responsible to provide appropriate cleansers and soaps, garbage bags and garbage receptacles. It is requested that all renters use only the cleansers and soaps provided. If any damages occur to the building or its contents, please notify the town office as soon as possible. Items that need to be fixed, replaced or purchased should also be reported to the town office. The town shall seek to have a person available for emergency calls relating to the facility. The renter should know who that person is and how they may be contacted. As a renter, I have read and agreed to the terms of the rental as described about and also in the appended form. I have received a copy of the Rental Agreement and of the Renter’s Checklist. I will personally accept, or assign responsibility to my agent, to abide by the agreement, follow the checklist, close the hall\rink shack at the end of the event and return the checklist and any keys I have been given to the town office. General Clean Up Duties.  Wipe and stack tables and chairs and move to designated areas (see attached site plans)  Sweep all used areas and spot mop any spills  Take out all garbage (bins located at the back doors past the walk-in cooler) and please remove all recycling items. A recycling depot is located at 000 0xx Xxxxxx  If using the stage dressing rooms please leave in a neat and tidy manner  Please ensure bathrooms are left tidy KITCHEN RESPONSIBILITIES:  Wipe stoves, convection oven, sinks and counters in the kitchen and sweep floors  All food must be removed from cooler, ovens & freezers. Any food left will be disposed of by the janitorial staff.  Ensure all dishes & utensils are properly placed back in their designated areas  Put all used tea towels in designated tubs  At the end of your function, please turn off the walk-in cooler. The switch is located inside the cooler  Turn dishwasher off and ensure it is clean as per posted instructions BAR RESPONSIBILITIES:  Wipe countertops, sweep and spot mop any spills  Remove all beverages, condiments and empty bottles  A liquor licence and Party Liquor Liability Insurance (PAL) may be required if serving alcohol
