GENERATING FACILITY INTERCONNECTION AND DESIGN REQUIREMENTS. 3.1 Member shall be responsible for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of the Generating Facility and shall obtain and maintain any required governmental authorizations and/or permits. 3.2 The Generating Facility shall meet all applicable safety and performance standards established by the National Electrical Code, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (“IEEE”), and accredited testing laboratories such as Underwriters Laboratories (“UL”), and, where applicable, rules of the Commission regarding safety and reliability. This requirement shall include, but not be limited to, the provisions of IEEE Standard 929, UL Standard 1741 and AEC’s Policy 306 – Interconnection of Distributed Generation Resources. 3.3 Member shall not commence parallel operation of the Generating Facility until written approval has been provided to it by AEC. AEC shall normally provide such written approval no later than 30 business days following AEC’s receipt of 1) a completed Distributed Generation Application including all supporting documents and required payments, 2) a completed signed Distributed Generation Interconnection Agreement, and 3) evidence of the Applicant’s final electric inspection clearance from the Government Authority having jurisdiction over the Generating Facility. If the 30-day period cannot be met, AEC shall notify Applicant and the Commission of the reason for the inability to process the interconnection request and the expected completion date. 3.4 AEC shall have the right to have its representatives present at the final inspection made by the governmental authority having jurisdiction to inspect and approve the installation of the Generating Facility. 3.5 Generating facility nameplate rating is limited as follows:

This requirement shall include, but not be limited to, the provisions of IEEE Standard 929 and UL Standard 1741 and SCE’s Rule 21 - Generating Facility Interconnections. 3.3 Customer shall not commence parallel operation of the Generating Facility until written approval has been provided to it by SCE. SCE shall provide such written approval within ten (10) working days from SCE’s receipt of a copy of the final inspection or approval of the Generating Facility which has been issued by the governmental authority having jurisdiction to inspect and approve the installation. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. 3.4 SCE shall have the right to have its representatives present at the final inspection made by the governmental authority having jurisdiction to inspect and approve the installation of the Generating Facility. Customer may be required to notify SCE in accordance with the terms of Section 11, herein, at least five (5) days prior to such inspection. 3.5 Customer shall not add generation capacity in excess of the Nameplate Rating set forth in Section 2.7 of this Agreement, or otherwise modify the Generating Facility without the prior written permission of SCE.

GENERATING FACILITY INTERCONNECTION AND DESIGN REQUIREMENTS. 6.1 Customer shall be responsible for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of the Generating Facility and shall obtain and maintain any required governmental authorizations and permits. 6.2 The Generating Facility and interconnection shall conform to all applicable solar or wind electrical generating system safety and performance standards established by the National Electrical Code (“NEC”), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (“IEEE”), and accredited, nationally recognized testing laboratories such as Underwriters Laboratories (“UL”), applicable building codes, and to all applicable Pasadena electric service requirements including Regulation 21 and Regulation 23, as may be amended from time to time. This requirement shall include, but not be limited to, the provisions of IEEE Standard 929 and UL Standard 1741 6.3 Customer shall deliver the available energy to Pasadena at the Required Meter (as defined in Section 7 “Required Metering”) located on the Customer's premises. 6.4 Customer shall not commence parallel operation of the Generating Facility until Customer receives written approval from Pasadena’s Authorized Representative. Pasadena’s Authorized Representative shall provide such written approval within ten
GENERATING FACILITY INTERCONNECTION AND DESIGN REQUIREMENTS. 3.1 CG shall be responsible for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of the Generating Facility and shall obtain and maintain any required governmental authorizations and/or permits. 3.2 CG shall not commence parallel operation of the Generating Facility until written approval has been provided to it by SDG&E. (CG’s Initials ) SDG&E shall provide such written approval within thirty (30) working days from SDG&E’s receipt of a completed applicable interconnection application including all supporting documentation and required payments, this completed and signed Agreement, and the final inspection clearance of the governmental authority having jurisdiction over the Generating Facility. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. SDG&E shall have the right to have representatives present at the initial testing of CG’s protective apparatus. CG shall notify SDG&E five (5) working days prior to initial testing. 3.3 SDG&E shall have the right to have its representatives present at the final inspection made by the governmental authority having jurisdiction to inspect and approve the installation of the Generating Facility. CG shall notify SDG&E in accordance with the terms of Section 12, herein, at least five (5) days prior to such inspection. 3.4 CG shall not add generation capacity in excess of the Nameplate Rating set forth in Section 2.6 of this Agreement, or otherwise modify the Generating Facility without the prior written permission of SDG&E. 3.5 Customers interconnecting inverter-based Generating Facilities are required to comply with the requirements of Section Hh of SDG&E’s Electric Rule 21, including configuration of protective settings in accordance with the specifications therein. Verification of compliance with such requirements shall be provided by the Customer upon request by SDG&E in accordance with SDG&E’s Electric Rule 21.

Related to GENERATING FACILITY INTERCONNECTION AND DESIGN REQUIREMENTS

  • Interconnection Facilities Engineering Procurement and Construction Interconnection Facilities, Network Upgrades, and Distribution Upgrades shall be studied, designed, and constructed pursuant to Good Utility Practice. Such studies, design and construction shall be based on the assumed accuracy and completeness of all technical information received by the Participating TO and the CAISO from the Interconnection Customer associated with interconnecting the Large Generating Facility.

  • Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities The Interconnection Customer shall design, procure, construct, install, own and/or control the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities described in Appendix A at its sole expense.

  • Generating Facility The Interconnection Customer’s device for the production of electricity identified in the Interconnection Request, but shall not include the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities.

  • Interconnection Facilities 4.1.1 The Interconnection Customer shall pay for the cost of the Interconnection Facilities itemized in Attachment 2 of this Agreement. The NYISO, in consultation with the Connecting Transmission Owner, shall provide a best estimate cost, including overheads, for the purchase and construction of its Interconnection Facilities and provide a detailed itemization of such costs. Costs associated with Interconnection Facilities may be shared with other entities that may benefit from such facilities by agreement of the Interconnection Customer, such other entities, the NYISO, and the Connecting Transmission Owner. 4.1.2 The Interconnection Customer shall be responsible for its share of all reasonable expenses, including overheads, associated with (1) owning, operating, maintaining, repairing, and replacing its own Interconnection Facilities, and

  • Purpose of Interconnection Facilities Except as may be required by Applicable Laws and Regulations, or as otherwise agreed to among the Parties, the Interconnection Facilities shall be constructed for the sole purpose of interconnecting the Large Generating Facility to the Participating TO’s Transmission System and shall be used for no other purpose.

  • One-Way Interconnection Trunks 2.3.1 Where the Parties use One-Way Interconnection Trunks for the delivery of traffic from Onvoy to Frontier, Onvoy, at Xxxxx’s own expense, shall: 2.3.1.1 provide its own facilities for delivery of the traffic to the technically feasible Point(s) of Interconnection on Frontier’s network in a LATA; and/or 2.3.1.2 obtain transport for delivery of the traffic to the technically feasible Point(s) of Interconnection on Frontier’s network in a LATA (a) from a third party, or, (b) if Frontier offers such transport pursuant to a Frontier access Tariff, from Frontier. 2.3.2 For each Tandem or End Office One-Way Interconnection Trunk group for delivery of traffic from Onvoy to Frontier with a utilization level of less than sixty percent (60%) for final trunk groups and eighty-five percent (85%) for high usage trunk groups, unless the Parties agree otherwise, Onvoy will promptly submit ASRs to disconnect a sufficient number of Interconnection Trunks to attain a utilization level of approximately sixty percent (60%) for all final trunk groups and eighty-five percent (85%) for all high usage trunk groups. In the event Onvoy fails to submit an ASR to disconnect One-Way Interconnection Trunks as required by this Section, Frontier may disconnect the excess Interconnection Trunks or bill (and Onvoy shall pay) for the excess Interconnection Trunks at the rates set forth in the Pricing Attachment. 2.3.3 Where the Parties use One-Way Interconnection Trunks for the delivery of traffic from Frontier to Onvoy, Frontier, at Frontier’s own expense, shall provide its own facilities for delivery of the traffic to the technically feasible Point(s) of Interconnection on Frontier’s network in a LATA.

  • Participating TO’s Interconnection Facilities The Participating TO shall design, procure, construct, install, own and/or control the Participating TO’s Interconnection Facilities described in Appendix A at the sole expense of the Interconnection Customer. Unless the Participating TO elects to fund the capital for the Participating TO’s Interconnection Facilities, they shall be solely funded by the Interconnection Customer.

  • System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades Connecting Transmission Owner shall design, procure, construct, install, and own the System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades described in Appendix A hereto. The responsibility of the Developer for costs related to System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of Attachment S to the NYISO OATT.

  • Network Interconnection Architecture Each Party will plan, design, construct and maintain the facilities within their respective systems as are necessary and proper for the provision of traffic covered by this Agreement. These facilities include but are not limited to, a sufficient number of trunks to the point of interconnection with the tandem company, and sufficient interoffice and interexchange facilities and trunks between its own central offices to adequately handle traffic between all central offices within the service areas at a P.01 grade of service or better. The provisioning and engineering of such services and facilities will comply with generally accepted industry methods and practices, and will observe the rules and regulations of the lawfully established tariffs applicable to the services provided.
