GOVERNMENT SECURITY REGULATIONS. The Union recognizes that the Company may have certain obligations in its contracts with the Government pertaining to security, and agrees that nothing contained in this Agreement is intended to place the Company in violation of any Security Agreement with the Government. Therefore, in the event that any Government agency with security regulations, advises the Company that any employee is restricted from work on, or access to, classified information or material, the Union will not contest any reasonable action the Company may take to comply with its security obligations to the Government. GOVERNMENT SECURITY REGULATIONS. The Union recognizes that the Company may have certain obligations in its contracts with the Government pertaining to security, and agrees that nothing contained in this is intended to place the Company in violation of any Security Agreement with the Therefore, in the that any concerned with security regulations, advises the Company that any employee is restricted froin work on, or access to, classified or material, the Union will not contest any reasonable action the Company may take to comply with its security obligations to the ARTICLE WORKING HOURS The following paragraph is intended to define the normal hours of work and shall not be construed as a guarantee of hours of work per day or per week, or of days of work per week. The normal work week shall, apart from overtime, consist of forty hours per week, comprised of five eight-hour days, Monday to Friday, inclusive. Employees working on continuous shifts will be granted a 25-minute paid lunch period. The Company agrees that any pay adjustment due to an employee reporting late shall reflect only the actual extent of the lateness, as indicated on the employee’s card. Upon request, the President, Vice President, Chief Xxxxxxx, and the Chairman of the Grievance Committee of the Local will be assigned to a permanent day shift, provided that, in the opinion of the Company, this arrangement can be reasonably made. The Union agrees to save the Company harmless from any and all claims which may be made against it by any employee who may be adversely affected by this provision. The Company shall provide an employee with at least forty-eight (48) hours notice of any unscheduled change in shift, except under emergency conditions when the opportunity to provide such notice is not reasonably available to the Company. Where it is agreed to by the employee and the Company, a shift change can take place without forty-eight (48) hours notice and premium payments as a result of the number of hours worked in a day under Article will not apply. The Company shall make every effort to assign shift work within a department on the basis of seniority subject to ability to perform the job satisfactorily.

  • Government Standards The Contractor shall ensure that all items and services proposed conform to all local, State and Federal law concerning safety (OSHA and NOSHA) and environmental control (EPA and Bureau County Pollution Regulations) and any other enacted ordinance, code, law or regulation. The Contractor shall be responsible for all costs incurred for compliance with any such possible ordinance, code, law or regulation. No time extensions shall be granted or financial consideration given to the Contractor for time or monies lost due to violations of any such ordinance, code, law or regulations that may occur.

  • Government Use If the Software, Documentation, Materials and any other Licensor services are being or have been acquired with U.S. Federal Government funds, or Customer is an agency, department, or other entity of the United States Government ("Government"), the use, duplication, reproduction, release, modification, disclosure, or transfer of the Software or any related documentation of any kind, including technical data, manuals or Materials, is restricted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.212 for civilian agencies and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement 227.7202 for military agencies. The Software, Materials, and any Licensor services are COMMERCIAL ITEMS AS DEFINED BY THE FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION. Use of the Software and Materials by the Government is further restricted according to the Agreement and any amendment hereto.

  • SUPPLANTING GOVERNMENT FUNDS 18 CONTRACTOR shall not supplant any federal, State, or COUNTY funds intended for the 19 purposes of this Agreement with any funds made available under this Agreement. 20 CONTRACTOR shall not claim reimbursement from COUNTY for, or apply sums received from 21 COUNTY with respect to, that portion of its obligations which have been paid by another source 22 of revenue. CONTRACTOR agrees that it shall not use funds received pursuant to this Agreement, 23 either directly or indirectly, as a contribution or compensation for purposes of obtaining federal, 24 State, or COUNTY funds under any federal, State, or COUNTY program without prior written 25 approval of ADMINISTRATOR.

  • GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED PROPERTY (1) The Government shall deliver to the Contractor the Government-furnished property described in this contract. The Government shall furnish related data and information needed for the intended use of the property. The warranties of suitability of use and timely delivery of Government-furnished property do not apply to property acquired or fabricated by the Contractor as contractor-acquired property and subsequently transferred to another contract with this Contractor.

  • GOVERNMENT PROPERTY (a) Company may furnish to Seller property as may be required for performance of work under this Agreement, or have Seller acquire such property as mutually agreed. Title to property furnished or acquired shall vest in the Government, and hereafter be referred to as "Government property." If Seller purchases property for which it is entitled to be reimbursed as a direct item of cost, title shall pass to the Government upon delivery of the property to Seller. Title to all other property, the cost of which is reimbursable to Seller, shall pass to the Government upon the earliest of (1) issuance of property for use in performance, (2) processing property for use in performance, or (3) reimbursement of cost of property. Title shall not be affected by the incorporation or attachment to any property not owned by the Government, nor shall any Government property become a fixture or lose its identity because it is affixed to any realty.

  • LOAN OF GOVERNMENT PROPERTY The parties shall enter into a NASA Form 893, Loan of NASA Equipment, for NASA equipment loaned to Partner.
