Common use of Grant Employees Clause in Contracts

Grant Employees. 2.4.1 No Bargaining Unit employee shall be laid off while a Grant Programme is in operation. 2.4.2 No grant employee shall be hired when an employee covered by this Article is on lay-off, provided such employee is eligible under the Programme, willing and qualified. 2.4.3 The Union will be informed upon confirmation of approved grant projects and the anticipated duration of the project. This is to include the employee’s name, work locations and anticipated number of hours worked per week.
