Common use of Grant Employees Clause in Contracts

Grant Employees. Grant employees shall be defined as any employee hired in conjunction with a specific program funded either in whole or in part by the Federal, State, or County governments. Said employees shall be hired in conformity with the guidelines prescribed by the said funding program and shall be entitled only to those benefits as required by said program. Anniversary Date The anniversary date of all permanent full time and permanent part time employees covered by this agreement shall be the actual first date of continuous employment with the Township of Neptune. If a casual employee becomes a probationary or permanent employee in the same or a related position, the time served as a casual employee, up to a maximum of one year, shall be credited for the purpose of establishing the employee’s anniversary date. In the event of multiple employees hired on the same date, seniority shall be determined based upon alphabetical order by last name then first name.
