Group Long-Term Disability Insurance. Monthly payments will be made following the completion of the required period of continuous total disability (Benefit Waiting Period) resulting from accident or sickness that occurs either at or away from work. The Board of Education shall pay the same share of the cost of the premium for this insurance as the Board pays for health insurance. The monthly maximum benefit will be $2,000.
Group Long-Term Disability Insurance. 12.01 The Division shall administer, in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement between the parties, The Manitoba Teachers' Society Disability Benefits Plan No. 51155 for participating employees. The premium for the plan shall be paid by each employee participating in the plan and shall be deducted monthly from salary payments of those employees and timely remitted to the plan.
Group Long-Term Disability Insurance. District participation - 100% of the premium for each participating employee.
Group Long-Term Disability Insurance. 1.1.4. Group and Individual Dental Insurance;
Group Long-Term Disability Insurance. The Board shall select the insurance carrier and will support the cost of Long-Term Disability protection for the secretary. If an employee becomes eligible for LTD the Board will pay the premium for health insurance only for a period of two (2) years from the date of absence from work.
Group Long-Term Disability Insurance. The Board shall provide a group Long-Term Disability Insurance Policy which shall be available for each licensed teacher. The teacher will contribute one dollar ($1.00) toward the cost of the premium which will be deducted from the teacher's first paycheck of the current school year's contract. This insurance becomes effective September 1, 2018, subject to obtaining a policy with a carrier, and continues through June 30, 2019.
Group Long-Term Disability Insurance. The Board shall provide long term disability insurance to teachers at a level of coverage no-less-than that in effect June 30, 2021, except the Board shall increase the maximum monthly benefit of sixty percent (60%) of an employee’s salary with a monthly maximum of $6,000.
Group Long-Term Disability Insurance. ELIGIBILITY: Active full-time regular employees working for this employer at least 20 hours per week who are under 65 years of age and who have qualified for and elected to participate in the Medical Benefits program of the employer sponsored Health Benefits Plan.
Group Long-Term Disability Insurance. The benefit shall be provided in accordance with the terms and provisions of the Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Company group policy.
