Group Long-Term Disability Insurance. Monthly payments will be made following the completion of the required period of continuous total disability (Benefit Waiting Period) resulting from accident or sickness that occurs either at or away from work. The Board of Education shall pay the same share of the cost of the premium for this insurance as the Board pays for health insurance. The monthly maximum benefit will be $2,000.

Group Long-Term Disability Insurance. 12.01 The Division shall administer, in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement between the parties, The Manitoba Teachers' Society Disability Benefits Plan No. 51155 for participating employees. The premium for the plan shall be paid by each employee participating in the plan and shall be deducted monthly from salary payments of those employees and timely remitted to the plan.
