Common use of Holiday Premium Clause in Contracts

Holiday Premium. Permanent part-time employees and casual employees shall receive a premium of five point two percent (5.2%) on all straight time pay in lieu of Public Holidays.

Permanent part-time employees and casual employees shall receive a premium of five point two percent (5.25%) percent on all straight time pay in lieu of Public Holidays.designated holidays. For working on a designated holiday, payment shall be made on the basis of one and one-half (1 1/2) times for the regular hours worked and the premium as identified above. Temporary employees shall receive leave of absence with pay for designated holidays for those holidays which fall within their term of employment. Effective November 16, 2007: Permanent part-time, temporary and casual employees shall receive stat holiday pay at the following rate:
