Holiday Worked. An employee who is required to work on a holiday may be authorized a scheduled work day off without loss of pay. Such compensatory days off must be used prior to the following June 30. In the alternative, and at the discretion of the Chief of Police or his/her designee, the employee may have the lost holiday added to vacation or personal leave.
